Rebecca wasn't as good as they'd have us believe last night imo. Wasn't anything special as per usual.
Mary and Cher tonight

Thought that both song choices for Mary were poor last night, Louis did her no favours whatsoever. The first song of hers reminded me of a drunken hen on the kareoke machine and her second performance went wrong from the first note and went downhill from there.
Cher's song choices looked good on paper but she failed to deliver yet again. Average voice and below average rapping ability in my opinion.
It's going to be a close call between the two of them but I think that Cher will scrape through to the final next week.

Cher to go - Mary is a nicer person and in my view is a better singer (unaided by autotuning and backing vocals).

Can't disagree- even ill Mary sounds better than Cher and her attitude just makes matters worse
Cher to go as I dont think a rude 17 year old girl is a good role model and if she stays then many yung kids will think this is the way to get something.

I take it we're talking about Cher here. No-one else fits the description. But I mean whats all the comments about dancing/not dancing. What the h*ll does it matter if they dance around or not. I mean no one complains about Mary not dancing around. I mean lets be fair, if it's so important then why is no-one suggesting that Mary do a little jig or two?

This is insulting to Rebecca, she was streets ahead of both of them, ask anyone who is neutral. Mary wasn't very good but Cher was awful, the judges should be slaughtered for saying different.

cher needs to stay or this contest will be tv valium, shes not the best singer in the world but has the all round package and with training she could be exceptional. i cant STAND rebecca, with her eyes closed and hand up 99percent of the time she thinks shes whitney houston or leona lewis,shes not, also cant stand the way she nods in agreement everytime someone compliments her like shes saying 'yeah i know' one direction are ok but just another boyband, theyre ten a penny and there are many undiscovered who are a lot better, matt is good but i think he lacks star quality

you do know there is only one week left so really that excues about the show going to be dull is a load of crap.
As for Cher is going to be exceptional that a matter of opinion and I think she rubbish cant sing very well as for the rapping I have heard a hell of a lot better on youtube.
And about Rebeccas looks whats that got to do with it??? She not going to be standing in everyone living rooms singing when they buy her album. so really going on about looks is sad. as its the music people buy albums for not looks.

And you may think Mary looks like she belong at someone wedding but IMO Mary is the better singer. She never hit a bad note or gone out of key unlike Cher who hit many bad notes and was out of key a lot last night aa well as other weeks. .

I'll go one step further and say that Cher is crap as well. Can't sing, can't rap...can dance a little.. but won't go far!
What's left is actually quite poor, I agree with that.
The show may be past its sell by date!

I'm neutral, that's my honest opinion
. I don't have a favourite this year. Rebecca's performance was insulting after that VT and her vidoe diary. She didn't exactly let her hair down did she?? At least Mary was able to shake her hips and she also sang well.
Mary is good but the last couple of weeks she has lost her wow factor. She is a great pub singer for sure but she has not yet attained the heights her earlier performances suggested - and she is too unpredictable with her vocals that now I feel a little uncomfortable when watching. A case of "oh god she is going to crack again, then do the affectation thing mid-song etc"

Why does being honest and saying this is the third week running she had been poor mean i "obviously don't like her". I really liked her at the start and it's frustrating because i know she can sing so much better than she has done recently because we've already seen how fantastic her voice is. I'm also sure she is able to move more than she did last night.
I'm not the sort of person who picks a favourite and then enjoys every single one of their performances
and votes for them because i'm a fan regardless of how well they actually performed, or in this case didn't perform. I've praised her loads in the past so there's no "obviously don't like her" about it.
