Tell them you're 16 and if it gets questioned tell them you misunderstood, They'll either put you through or tell you to come back next year, or try BGT.

Just thank your lucky stars you've missed out..and hopefully by next year you'll have realised that going on this show is really not a good idea. No mercy will be shown. They are only interested in viewing figures, and are willing to crucify participants to achieve this aim. This short cut is not worth the sacrifice expecially since you're so young and might find it very difficult to deal with any adverse publicity.. You'll do well working hard at your own music and releasing it on You Tube to see what happens and persevering on gigs etc. Good luck, I wish you every success, but please listen to your mum, she sounds a very wise lady who cares for her daughters well-being. xx

16 is too young. Do you really think you could handle the awful abuse thrown at Katie this year? Do yourself a favour and don't do it.
