Both Cher and Mary getting more votes than Matt would be the biggest shock ever in X Factor history.

Unofrtunately the rather inane campaign/ tactics of voting for Mary with the sole intent of getting rid of Cher could backfire on someone else... I still doubt that would be Matt, but with the possibility of a slight split of the vote between the audience who appreciate good, talented singers with distinctive voices - who may just possibly split Matt and Rebecca's vote, you never know....

I think at this point, the chances are minus 100%.

matt is 100% safe, i wouldnt be surprised if he walked away with the most votes tonight, purely based on the fact that like myself his fans will vote more to esure he is safe.

He wasn't his best last night, but he has a large fan base that will carry him through.

If you think he's out, why not put a tenner on it? You can still get 80-1 on him going out tonight.

There's more chance of Wand Erection coming out as gay than Matt leaving the X Factor tonight.

There is no chance that the GBP will not vote for Matt after witnessing those harrowing images of the desperately ill Matt, too ill to even get out of bed to make himself a Lemsip & having to rely on his mother to 'nurse' him.

The GBP could never be that heartless & will vote in their droves to honour the heroic Matt for bravely battling back from a severe illness to perform on Saturday.

I went for B - because nobody is safe and he was poorly last night. I saw his You Got The Love performance, but heard a clip of his second and it wasn't up to much.

Calm down, it's only a VT.

Besides, my post was not about his mum bringing him Lemsip; obviously she is entitled to do that (full marks for stating the obvious), it was about the pathetic VT & the fact that we were all shown that nonsense, as if we're all dumb.

I went for B for the same reason - nobody is safe. I thought his second performance was poor.

I had to agree with Simon last night and it wasn't his best performance, however he was ill but peple should vote on the performance and not sob stories!

Matt didn't bring out the 'sob story' as you so sweetly put it! The guy was sick for pities sake - were you blind?

Yes, but his 'not at his best' performance was still better than Mary, Cher, 1D and the nice-voice-but-ever-so-dull Rebecca.

People will vote for Matt for his continued ,consistent, good performances. No-one votes for 'sob stories', that's just silly nonsense.
