'All the fish have been sold'
To paraphrase how they described the world cup votes... 'All the fish have already been sold'
Does it matter in the slightest how the contestants actually perform any more? Has the X factor already been won? Is the opinion on who to vote for already decided by most viewers? I know mine is... |

I think you may be mostly right here with exception for the final #1 and #2 spots. I think it is very close between Matt and Rebecca with the sway voters (people who vote solely on performance). Just my intuition.

I know who I will be voting for next week. As do probably about 90% of voters. Performance means nothing, it's all down to popularity.

I would add also, for me, personally...... it is nothing to do with personality either. I don't really give much of a fig about whether they are going out with this person or that person, how they are portrayed in the press, overhyped or otherwise. For me it is whose voice, music and performances, both during this competition and from their time before they entered it (thank you youtube), that I have consistently enjoyed, played over and over again, been happy to shell out a quid each week for one song off itunes, and whose music I see myself spending my hard earned on buying in the future.
For me, it has nothing to do with a clothing style or a judge's comment. Everything to do with whom I wish to hear playing throughout my house on my stereo. |
