Will Cher Get To Number One Before Dannii?
Well. Will Cher get to Number One before Dannii? How many times has Dannii topped the charts?

She may well do - but she'll certainly never get a spot judging the X Factory.
Can you imagine it? The hopeful sings his heart out and the camera pans to Judge No.1 - Cher - "mmmmmm, IIIIII dunnnoooo......It's all good, innit?.......keeping it real......respect....." Followed by "yew're reeet up my sttreeet, weee pet...." 'Twould be riveting, wouldn't it?

Not sure how that's relevant. She will get to number one before a lot of people doesn't make her better.
And I know it's a tired old arguement but dannii has had a career that has spanned 30 years. Cher will be lucky if anyone remembers her by the next series. |

Not sure I see the relevance of this but probably. Would it make a jot of difference in anyone's life? Not really. Dannii has her place quite set in the world. And Cher will do well as well. I really don't see them in competition.

I think the real question is: Will Cher's career have the same longevity as Dannii's? She may be more successful, but I can't see her still being in the limelight in 30 year's time.

Yep. Dannii is probably past it now, she's had a good 50 years and still failed.

I'm sure Cher will be as successful as Dannii has been on the UK no.1 front. Next!

Hasn't Dannii sold about 4 million records worldwide?
As if Cher will ever get to that figure. |

there's a lot of great artists who have never had a UK number one. Doesn't make them musically less talented.
... Not that I'm saying that Dannii is ridiculously musically talented but if Cher gets a number 1 that doesn't make her better. In fact, if it was a forced choice I'd buy a Dannii track over anything from that little gremlin any day... |

I love how people have never made these comments about Cheryl, yet Dannii has been far more successful internationally than GA. This country is becoming almost as insular as the US in thinking that anything that is successful here is huge everywhere and anything that is successful internationally but not here doesn't count.

According to the industry blog its four million which seems about right for a low key 20 year career.

If Dannii's got 4 million, Kylie but be on about 100 million by now.
