Who else thinks that Aiden deserves to be there in the semi final over some of the other contestants?

Me but its all a case of individual tastes.

I would put Aiden in there over Cher or Mary and possibly over One Direction, even though I quite like them. Not over Matt or Rebecca though.

No he was out of tune almost every week, however so are some of the people who are in the semi final!

Yeah, he deserves to be there. He was one of the few contestants this year who appeared to show an understanding of the context of the songs he was performing, as well as emotionally connecting with them, and none of them were karaoke as a result.

But he's still in heavy demand doing the local gigs tour, and I think he's just as happy doing those, so I don't feel too bad for him.

Depends on your definition of 'deserve' I suppose.... if the criterion is the ability to sing painfully earnest versions of obvious songs only slightly out of key while looking as sullen as a wet Wenesday in Salford, maybe....

Aiden is too original and left-field for a Saturday night tv show. He's far better off as he is now, with his sold-out club appearances, building a solid fan base. And he's on the tour, so it's all worked out well. Winning the show would have been a disaster for him (as indeed it is for most people).

Aiden is too good for this Show!
Majority of the listeners of it who are mostly 'karaoke' raised up would never understand and hear his uniqueness and his talent.
So, I would say: Yes, he left too early, but it's for his good!

He's certainly good enough to deserve to be there, but Simon would do whatever his precious princess wanted..
