Hi - spotted Darren and Ian in their (unfair imo) relegation to the Pro dance troupe.
Just wondering - will they change any dancers for the next series and who you think might be at risk?
I could never figure out what criteria they applied last time round- it wasnt age-ist nor what it based on previous success (Mathew Cutler)
I thought maybe Ola or Erin and Robyn?

Keep it at 14 couples.

Axe Robin, Artem & Jared- bringing back Ian, Brian & Darren.
For the girls, I could lose Aliona in favour of Lilia.

Maybe its time for Erin & Anton to step aside.

^^^ I like Aliona, but would be happy for Erin to go over Lilia, but I think she's long gone.

I think the show dancers are crap, what a waste, Darren and Ian were lovely last year, I'm glad Brian said no to be honest.

Maybe time for Anton to step down.

Interesting - agree Aliona could goand not be missed.
Unfortunately they never go back on decisions so maybe not Lilia (sadly).
Had forgotten about Brian - another great dancer.
The whole dance troupe thing is so pointless they would be as well not being in it.
I wondered about Anton too, not because I dont enjoy him but hes been on from the start - but he had national treasure status now

I get the feeling that as long as Anton is around, Erin will be there too - perhaps the only redeeming thing about Anton's disturbingly increased status on the show.

Other than Anton, the only pro who I really could do without is Jared. Aliona could be replaced easily, but she has grown on me, so I'd be happy if I saw her again.

It's impossible to say for sure though. The only safe pro's in my eyes are Brendan, Anton and the Jordan's who have clearly become higher priorities in the last two years. () I'm actually quite concerned about Vincent and Flavia. Other than their epic pro dances, they really don't seem very high up in the pecking order.

I would say, given the amount of Solo spots they are given and how many Pro Dances they're in, that Vincent and Flavia are VERY high up in the pecking order!

Vincent and Flavia don't seem to have in so many pro dances or had so many solo spots this year, or am I imagining it? Still I think its better when the showcases are shared out a bit more.

Hate to say it, but Kristina doesn't exactly add a lot to the table so I reckon she could go.

I guess Jared won't return, preferably in favour of Matt Cutler or Ian Waite.

Kristina was a fabulous Latin dancer, but yet to see any real proof that she can teach! To be fair, though, she hasn't had anyone with any great potential (did think Goldie should have lasted longer though). But I don't think I'd miss her too much if she wasn't in next year's show.

Would like to see Anton & Erin out; and I hope if Jared returns it will be in the dance troupe only - he'd probably be quite good in that as stage dance is his "thing", but his ballroom was a dance disarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrster, darrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrling!

I really can't see Jared returning.

Kristina is a very versatile dancer she can be partnered with any pro. her choreography with john seargent was amazing , shes not had much luck with celebs since then .

Darren and Lilia used to be in quite a few pro dances and that didn't really mean alot.

I think it's probably Anton and Erin's last series. I do quite like them though so will be sad if they do go.

I can't really see Jared returning either.

I think Ian and Shem (the other guy in the dance troupe) will replace them and either Aneta or Tanya will replace Erin.

I really really really really really really really wish Darren and Lilia would return but I realise that's unlikely.

James and Ola
Ian and Camilla (or Natalie, don't mind which)
Matthew and Aliona
Brendan and Karen
Anton and Erin
Vincent and Flavia.

I think they will keep Anton in (and therefore Erin with him)until Brucie is ready to step down at which point Anton will step into his shoes.

The BBC has history in this respect, when Fern Briton left Ready steady Cook, Ainsley harriot who had previously been a chef on the show took over.

I doubt any of the previous pro's will return but I miss Matthew, Darren & Lilia.

Also would be quite happy to see a change in the judges.

Artem should definitely stay, Jared can go and Matt C should return, I miss him the most.

If I could bring back just one discarded pro it would be Ian - he's a huge loss to the programme.

No way will they bring back any of the already-axed dancers in my opinion!

Hope they get rid of the show dancers - don't even think they're that good!!!

Erin and Anton would be great as show dancers for ballroom dances, and maybe Lilia and Darren / Kristina and Matt Cutler could do the Latin ones (with some help from /using the current pros when needed)

Think Karen Hardy should replace Aleesha - she is still useless, and Bruno has caught her erratic scoring this year! (although I think all the scoring has been 'weird' this year!)

In terms of dancers - have already mentioned Erin and Anton being show dancers instead of pros, and Kristina! Hope they don't get rid of Artem or Robin (but Jared can go - don't think he really 'got' it), and I like all the new females (Aliona, Katya and Natalie)!

Am intrigued to know what will happen already!!!!

Sorry, I know she's gorgeous, but I think her choreography is letting Matt down. She is too into tricks over content. And I have nothing against the occasional back flip! He could be gettings 40 but isn't, and Aliona is the reason.

This hadn't occurred to me but it sounds extremely plausible now you've mentioned it. I hope so much that Anton goes as I really do not like him. When we had that first show this year when couples were first partnered, I was certain Anton was going to get Ann Widdecombe. I just couldn't see why they'd have kept him in this year when they got rid of or demoted other longstanding dancers, unless he had already agreed to take on someone who was destined to be the pantomime act (to quote the Widdy).

Doesn't matter in my books, I'd rather he was undermarked than overmarked so he has a greater audience proportion of votes. The tricks in my view actually show off Matt's personality, so lets stop whining about it please. Please don't have a go at Aliona, not needed.
