I would also like Matt back but I don't think they will while Alesha's on the panel. Must be hard for her to be impartial.

I think Artem and Robin have earned their stripes this series, Jared could go either way.

I don't think any of the others will go unless they want to.

I have liked all the pros this year. I wonder if Jared will actually want to return, he is a very young chap and may have other, more interesting work on offer.
I would, of course, love to see Ian Waite back again and think it is criminal that he was sidelined. Similarly Matthew Cutler and the Bennetts. Ian most of all.

Now that Anton has rehabilitated himself he can go as far as I am concerned - but Erin is so excellent, don't want to lose her (she might have a baby next year though, aaaah).

I want Lilia back.
I want Aliona to stay
I want Karen back
I want Anton to get someone who can make the semis
I want Brian Fortuna back

I would really like Derek Hough from the US. He is a brilliant dancer and choreographer !

Artem and Katya
Brendan and Kristina
Darren and Lilia
Ian and Natalie
James and Ola
Matthew and Aliona
Vincent and Flavia

Move Anton and Erin onto the judges panel, replacing Alesha and Len.
Brilliant just stick Karen Hardy on as a fifth judge and its the perfect 'dream team'.

This way we have 3 technical judges and 2 performance judges.

Artem has to stay. He's more than earned his stripes.

Robin I have no strong feelings about. He kind of fills a space Ian and Matt did a much better job of.

Jared - no, ta.

I'd gladly see the back of Brendan and Anton, both of whom should take a break from the show - but I doubt that will happen ...

I'd also say that unless Aliona improves her choreography, she should also go. It's consistently under par and has so far failed to exploit Matt's potential.

Jared can go back to America and take Anton, Brendan and Vincent on a long pre Christmas road-trip. I've not missed Brian as much as I thought I would as other characters have come through. I liked Darren and Lilia but again have not missed Lilia or been excited when Darren has been spotted.

Hope Artem and Robin return and like all the females bar Aliona and Gavin's partner, whose name escapes me? (how annoying). Find both annoying and don't enjoy much of their choreography.

I loved Matt Cutler and Ian Waite and as much as I've hated the whole showdance troupe thing, I'm glad it's happened. Change is always difficult but change is good. It would be nice to have a pot of dancers to choose from, giving some a year's break or a permanent break! Would particularly like Derek Hough to join for a year, without Cheryl Cole tagging along.

Hi - spotted Darren and Ian in their (unfair imo) relegation to the Pro dance troupe.
Just wondering - will they change any dancers for the next series and who you think might be at risk?
I could never figure out what criteria they applied last time round- it wasnt age-ist nor what it based on previous success (Mathew Cutler)
I thought maybe Ola or Erin and Robyn?
Like to lose Anton and Erin, they've had their time. Not too sure about Vincent, his choreography with Felicity might have been better, but I would keep Flavia. Artem has made an impact but Jared was a bad selection, too young and not a great dancer. Kristina Rihanoff needs a fair chance with a decent partner with a fan base.

I don't think Natalie is that popular with the public but I would keep her, judging by her success here and on the Australian version she is obviously a very good teacher and choreographer. Bring back Lilia but not Darren

My Pros.

Males

Brendan
James
Ian
Matthew
Artem
Robin
A. N. Other (? Brian Fortuna)

Females

Lilia
Flavia
Aliona
Natalie
Ola
Kristina
Katya

Doesn't matter in my books, I'd rather he was undermarked than overmarked so he has a greater audience proportion of votes. The tricks in my view actually show off Matt's personality, so lets stop whining about it please. Please don't have a go at Aliona, not needed.
Who's whining? It's just my opinion. And I said I liked 'the odd backflip'!

To be a clever choreographer on Strictly the pros have to please both the judges and the audience. Tricks, generally speaking, serve to keep the audience happy. Relevent dance content is required to keep the judges happy. So striking a balance between the two is key.

I can see Aliona is being creative and inventive, but to fit that in she is not ticking enough boxes for the judges.

Personally I don't think Matt is being undermarked as such. He is more capable than his marks suggest, but I suspect the marks are being lost for lack of content, not ability. Although I always think it's harsh to knock points off for something over which the celeb has no control.

The judges haven't been very vocal about this so far, mainly because up til now they have been desperate to try and keep the talent in over Ann, but I expect they will become more critical from here on in.

I love the Robin/Pasty combo - so I hope they give him another go next year

Let us finally lose Brendan, personally would love to see Derek Hough replace him.

Lilia is my all time favourite but she's never coming back, along with other pros sadly no longer with the show.

Otherwise, Anton and Erin can go, but as has been said Erin given a behind the scenes role. The thought of Anton replacing Bruce fills me with dread. If Bruce has to go let him at least be replaced by a professional presenter.

Don't have any problems with the others, but let some of them get a decent partner next year, Krstyna for one and let's give Natalie a real challenge with someone of the ilk of Paul Daniels.

I think the show dancers are crap, what a waste, Darren and Ian were lovely last year, I'm glad Brian said no to be honest.
I agree
Dump those showdancers. Horrible that was last Sunday

As for who stays/goes:

Anton & Erin have outstayed their welcome methinks.

Darren (who seems to be gaining pounds by the week, gawd awful ) & Lilia are already out and should stay out.

Lose Jared (too juvenile), Brendan (has become boring) and Aliona (bad choreography) as well

Bring back Ian and Matthew.

Keep:
Artem, Robin, Kristina, Katya, Ola, James, Natalie

Assuming 14 couples as per this year:

Male:
Artem
Ian Waite
Brendan
James Jordan
Vincent Simone
Anton Du Beke (I know I'm in a minority but I do like him despite his dodgy latin!)
AN Other newbie

Female:
Kristina
Flavia
Aliona
Katya
Natalie
Ola
AN Other newbie

I would definately retain Artem and lose Jared (who doesn't appear to have the chops either as dancer or cheographer) however he was in that dancing insert and is in the tour so who knows. Although Nicole was on the first tour before she got ditched the next year so again we might be lucky.

Robin I'm not fussed about either way.

Brian and Lilia have burnt their bridges so I don't think they'll be back which is a shame because I especially miss Lilia.

Darren and Ian were good boys and took their demotions with great grace so they could tell return. Both of them did the midweek reports. I think Ian in particular knew how things would pan out and will back next year they need him to partner tall lady celebs and Natalie and of course will possibly have helped his cause by for being good enough to be a replacement pro for a week. I have to say I've really missed him this year. Darren less so like Monkseal I'm not that keen on him as a personality but there is no denying his talent as a dancer or cheorographer. If Jared goes then that paves the way for him to return possibly if Lilia's comments in the press about Robin haven't earned him a black mark by association. Ironically I think he's at his best with the mid-ranking celebs - I think Patsy or certainly Tina would have done a lot better with him.

Matt is still involved as a guest cheorographer and he may be happier in that role. I'd be happy to have him back but as long as Alesha's still cluttering up the judges's table I think it unlikely.

On the subject of judges's - hasn't Brendan being a judge in New Zealand. I think his fans thought he was good and as a colourful figure he may well add something there. That said he's ok as a dancer and so can come back and has a significant fanbase.

We could do with some new blood on the judges's panel. I think only Criag doesn't need a shake up to be honest although Bruno is very entertaining. Len could do with replacing or at least demoting to keep his ego in check. Like many I think Karen would be good there replacing Alesha whom could possibly replace Tess without a loss of face and whom could happily be nice and bubbly with the mantra that she knows what it's like to be both contestant and judge and could offer prespective there.

Anton could be moved to presenting duties - his latin isn't up to being a judge - I think he might be acceptable to the SCD viewing public as a Brucie replacement - a lot of viewers seem to like him.

Erin could move to take over Karen's role on ITT (if she has family plans which from what she said in Hello when interviewed at Nicole's wedding might be the case) or she could remain as a dancer partnering Brendan. If Anton goes she might not be a bad judge either.

I'd never suggest that any of the pros are anything but fantastic at dancing, but personally, from what I feel they contribute to the show (in terms of dancing, TV personality, teaching, and choreographing) I would like to definitely have:

Erin (Yes, I know, not-good-at-latin-etc - but she's choreographed some latin dances better than the latin specialists on the show, and her latin is never going to impede her dance partner at this kind of beginner level. Plus, she's one of the best teachers on Strictly. If, however, they replace Bruce with Anton, Erin for judge!)
Artem (I've really enjoyed his choreo this year; some really interesting and compelling routines produced for Kara. He may, however, be less appealing with a less talented partner)
Katya (I'm iffy: Katya's actually one of my favourite pros and I have no idea why! She's an ok teacher, an ok choreographer, she has an odd sense of humour...yet I just love her )
Ian (Good teacher, good choreographer, good fun - what's not to like)

I'd also be keen on seeing:

Anton (I'm not his biggest fan but I can see his appeal to much of Strictly's audience. He's one of the biggest names among the pros, rightly or wrongly, and he does tend to build up a good rapport with his partner most of the time)
Natalie (Not really a fan but I can appreciate her choreo and her drive to succeed)
Kristina (She was very sweet with John Sergeant. I'd like to see her get a chance with someone with some natural talent, poor thing!)
James (I'd rather him over Brendan in the 'bad boy' (yawn...) stakes; he seems like a fun guy and not actually stroppy like Brendan gets sometimes)
Ola (The men would get so angry if she were cut I feel like she's really come out of her shell in terms of choreo and personality over the series)
Vincent (He's such a character; I like that he brings a bit of cheekiness, and he always seems to get on with his partners. Some really nice routines too.)
Matthew (I like him. I mean, I don't love him like some of his most ardent fans, but he seems like a lovely person and a good teacher and choreographer)

I'd also perhaps like to see Brian, Lilia, Karen - oh hell, it's quite obvious that I love almost all of them

NB: Tall Paul and others who have become so defensive of one particular pro: like you say, it is the producers, not us, who decide. So surely it's ok for us to voice our opinions of who we'd like to see and who we wouldn't? I mean, take Aliona for example: I wouldn't be fussed if she were cut because I feel her teaching style and choreography perhaps aren't best suited to the Strictly environment but that doesn't mean I'm mean about her / I hate her / I'm jellus or that I can't appreciate her cute personality or imaginative style. Many people have said they want to see the back of Erin; personally, she's my favourite pro, but I'm not going to jump down people's throats for voicing reasonable and polite opinions.

I think that the Jordans may not come back next year, although I would love them too. James always strikes me as a fairly clever operator who will use Strictly to achieve what he wants. I always have the feeling that he is less emotionally tied into Strictly than some of the others (even though he is very competitive) and will leave when it doesn't fit into his gameplan or lifeplan. They have done Strictly for five years now, which is a huge investment of time for a couple. There are bound to be huge changes to Strictly either next year or the year after. I think they may see what these changes are and then decide what to do. Also it is only natural that they will want to start a family at some stage and they will have this to consider.

Why are people so negative about Robin?? I think he's been a fantastic addition.

People need to forget about Darren, Lillia, Brian etc... they are not coming back. You'll just have to watch old shows if you want to see them,.

I think out of this year's line up I really wouldn't miss Kristina, Jared or Anton.

Out of the pros we've lost this series I only really miss Lilia & Ian. Lilia won't be back so that means if we bring back Ian we should either go back down to 12 couples or bring in two new pros.

I would get rid of;

James & Ola; (he thinks he is much better than he is, she would not stay if he was replaced)
Anton (a bore)
Jared; (too inexperienced)
Aliona; (me, me, me)
Erin; ( the smile never reaches her eyes! )

I would like Vincent and Brendan to go.
They are both arrogant *****!
Vincent has had the same "I am so sexy" joke for as long as he has been on the show, it is not funny and never was.
Brendan is just Brendan.
