Only the general anti-Widdy lobby has kept the anti-Bruce lobby off the front pages - perhaps a good thing, so that he can go out on a high, especially as he has modified (mostly) the awfulness of his jokes so that they are now bearable.
I really don't think Bruce will be back next year - the DWTS format, props etc are not to his taste and he can't overpower the judges any more.
However, the question of Bruce's replacement is pure speculation, whatever the tabloids say. Bruce doesn't have to sign his contract as presenter until the summer of each year. Lots of water under the bridge till then.
