There have also been a few minor changes to Channel 5's schedule which now shows that the version of A Christmas Carol on Saturday 22nd December at 8pm is indeed the version starring Patrick Stewart.

I think I would prefer that. The 23rd or 24th.

I can't remember that happening.

1923 copies anyone ?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20625884#

The BBC has completed its effort to digitise programme listings from old copies of the Radio Times magazine.

The project has involved scanning in the pages of about 4,500 copies of the Radio Times. They date from its first issue in 1923 to 2009. For later dates records generated by the iPlayer catch-up service are used

Good! Fingers crossed my Tesco has them in

I hope TV Times (and other magazines) are out tomorrow too. I usually buy 2/3 and keep them forever

Read more about the Christmas Issue here. And see the finished cover in all its glory. It will cost £2.80

Probably next year it will cost £3.50 and have three cover variations.

Double the price of the normal weekly issue for a double issue. Nothing new there.

Would someone be so kind as to scan the "holiday film guide" from the RT Holiday Edition. I live outside of the UK and so can't buy it. Still have access to UK TV

I hadn't. Just watched it on YouTube. Don't get the hype. Nice little thing for kids I guess but why are adults so obsessed by it? I turned it off half way through the flying bit cos I was so bored.

You can buy it online. If you want to watch UKTV , come back to the UK and pay the licence fee.

RE the pricing (of the magazine in general). Things are going up, and for the sake of 10/20p (RE the standard weekly issue) I couldn't give a monkeys. If we all lived by what increases were enforced upon us then we'd never have any luxuries or eat! (Okay this is getting deep now )
