Picked mine up from a service station near Birmingham. Haven't had a look yet, just got home and feeling a bit unwell. After I've had a nice cup of tea I'm getting my pen out and having a look, got to love tradition!

Any tips about where to pick an early edition up in the North West, but did get a TV & Satellite Week of the festive period for now but nothing beats the Radio Times for the feel of the listings.

Had a quick look through, can't see anything on The Lady Vanishes, the BBC adaptation. Isn't this on at Christmas, or has my tiredness made me miss something obvious?

Nothing in my local Sainsburys, but my excellent independent newsagent in South London had plenty of Christmas RT on their shelves today. Made me feel better buying it from them instead of a chain.

Looks like it will still be a couple of days before it hits Edinburgh.

I like the snowman cover very much, its much better than the Christmas covers of recent years. Its nice to have a Christmas double issue cover that is nothing to do with Come Dancing or Wallace and Grommit .
I'm pleased that this years double issue will have listings for Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Why can't the Radio Times manage to have Christmas Day and New Years Day in every festive double issue ? The 1999 double issue had 15 days worth of listings. It is annoying that some years that the double issue has Christmas Day programmes listed but not New Years Day.

iIm disappointed to say I still haven't got a copy yet. I tried every news agents/mini supermarket I passed on my lunch wander and not a single one anywhere (Oxford Road, Manchester). guess I'll have to be patient and hope Asda has them in on Wednesday nights shopping trip.

Congrats to the comp winner! I'd love to have another blast next year!

There were loads in WHSmith when I looked at lunchtime (I'm in the Midlands). I'm a subscriber but was tempted to buy a copy today to have as a spare - plus I could keep it in pristine condition as my copy generally gets a bit damaged from being shoved through the letterbox.

However, I decided to be patient thinking my copy might turn up today. However, it hasn't! Oh well, maybe tomorrow...

Plan on getting mine on Friday. Office Christmas lunch on Friday, get the RT on the way home, get the decorations down from the attic ready to put up on Saturday morning.

Then Christmas can start to begin

The bit in bold is interesting because one of the excuses for subscriber copies arriving in dribs and drabs in 2010 was that different regional editions had to be sent out on different days.

Got my RT yesterday. WH Smiths in Alton Hampshire had plenty of them (along with all the other Xmas guides). The only place in town that seems to be selling them at the moment. Sainsbury's are only currently selling 15-21st.
