HOWEVER, we know it's not all about dance, but it also has to do with popularity, personality, entertainment and of course the couple as a duo.
I personally would love to see Scott Maslen win it, as not only has he put on some brilliant performances, but he geniuinly seems like a great guy, who has given his all to the competition. I do think he needs to prove himself once again in the semi finals to show that he would be a worthy winner. Maybe being in the bottom two is just what was needed for him to up his game and really show what he is capable of.”
I think Scott tries too hard tbh. He comes across like a dad trying to be cool, which is just naff. He has had a few great dances, but his Latin has generally been poor. I don't think he deserves to win dance-wise because he isn't versatile enough.
Some people have dismissed Pamela because of her jive, which I think is unfair. Her Rumba, Salsa and Charleston have all been good, so I think she's quite versatile.
Pamela's jive was mediocre, but that was largely due to her age and figure. Scott's Rumba was pretty awful, and his Samba wasn't good either. The issue I have with Scott is that he doesn't seem willing to move his hips because he doesn't want to look effeminate. I think that's a pretty lame reason myself.
Scott is tired and I don't think he's fully committed any more. It almost seemed like he wanted to go when he was in the bottom 2.
