Sugar made it sound like Stuart Bags Ther Brand is always coming out with silly jokes but I can't recall hearing one before in the boardroom in front of Sugar too.

Fair play to Bagss for having the gutts to do it.

I thought the generation game comment was funny and the girls reaction to it was even funnier.Notice how the guys were two afraid to laugh at that point

They where all laughing in a shy way. I didn't really get the joke and I used to watch Generation programme as a kid, and thats another point, isn't Stuart to young to really remember that programme?

Boy this section has gone quiet too. Maybe its the time of the year.

He might have meant the more recent version that was hosted by (I think) Jim Davidson

That was before his time too surely? I'm in my 30's and it was the last few years of Brucie then Davidson that I watched.

He's only 21 so until about 1995/1996, I doubt he would remember what was on tv really and generation show was coming to an end in the mid 90's wasn't it or if it wasn't, it wasn't that popular by then.

The Jim Davidson "revival" version lasted from 1995 to 2002 so it's feasible that StuBaggs could have seen it towards the end of its run

Stuart is the same age as me and I'm fully aware of the Generation Game.

I would guess that reeling off a list of items that had been bought was like the contestant reeling off the prizes on the conveyor belt.

Teasmade. Lampshade. Vase thingy. Cuddly toy ...

Sugar looks at the footage and reads their CVs.

Its quite possible StuBaggs has been making more quips in the board room but they have all ended up on the cutting room floor. Previous candidates have said the board room can go on for hours. Lordalun has also said himself that he can be quite jovial but that is always cut to give him a more intimidating air. Though Lord Sidney Ruff-Diamond may be flattering himself there.
