Just bought a nice new Foxsat pvr and hooked it up to my Tosh model x3030 LCD TV, lovely picture but it looks like it 's on a wide setting all the time.
Have gone into settings and tried every combination of display there is but with no luck, still too much picture for screen.

Had a Fortec Star Passion hooked up to the same TV with no problems so am at a total loss as to the problem, would hate to send the Humax back as faulty this close to Xmas.

Any ideas anyone, all help gratefully accepted.

Dave

You didn't say whether you were referring to HDR or TV settings. I'm assuming you meant HDR. I would think checking TV settings as well would be more likely to resolve issue.

Checked the TV setup and all as normal, as explained a Fortec Star HDMI worked perfectly. on the same TV.

Thought it would be an upgrade, could be I was wrong.

Sussed it! theTtosh has got 2 sets of screen setup menus (been a long time since i used it) and it's the 2nd one that alters it for 1080i which gives it the correct picture.

What a performance!!
