The VW will just be stiff with swing and sway severely lacking. Hoping for anything else is just foolish imo.

As for Scott. As mentioned already on here he has not produced a decent dance since that Jive (which was pretty damn good). The man is burned up and lost his mojo from then on. Now he just runs after 'Nat' in the hopes of remembering steps he was taught in the previous days. I have no reason to assume his AT will be any different. As for his Charleston, that one will just be OTT and technically horrible. Just hope he doesn't collapse during the routine

Having said all this I think that Pamela & Scott will be exited not Gavin. His fanbase is growing apparently and somehow I think Pammy won't cope well with the three dances one of which will be the Paso. Her latin has been hit and miss so far and if she doesn't top the leaderboard......;

My dream final would be w/:
Kara (top of my bill)
Matt (annoying but crowd favourite)
Pam (Not the best, but certainly deserving of place in final, I hope).”

Matt Dawson did a decent samba as did Austin Healey

Gavin isn't exactly in the same league as them when it comes to dance talent.

I think Gavin will be bottom with the judges score no doubt about it however i think if scott and pamela take up the 3rd and 4th spot then i think gavin has enough fans to get him and katya through to the final and therefore scott and pamela going. However this is a big ask pamela finishing in 3rd with the judges because as we know she's been doing incredibly well with them.

Listen, I was only referring to Gavin here. Sorry but those other two aren't dancing in this year's strictly so for that reason alone there's no need for bringin them up:sleep: so I didn't

Thought you meant they might be dancing together. You never know, the homoerotic inspiration might just provide the spark Gavin needs. I can see it now, Matt in shirt and bow tie undone to his belly button and Gavin in shocking pink sequins and feathers...

I have only just joined the forums after all theses years. Fascinating reading!
I would love to see Matt, Pamela and Gavin in the final. It won't happen though. I have a horrible feeling that Gavin and Matt or Pamela will be voted out. East enders always do well in the public vote.
Matt is my favourite with Pamela close second. If either of those win, I will be delighted.

This is the public vote from last week - as by source

1. Matt
2. Kara
3. Gavin
4. Ann
5. Scott
6. Pamela

Thank you, I know it's long after the event but it agrees with my envelope.

Do we know how close any of the positions were?

I believe the middle group changes from week to week but reckon Matt and Pamela have been top and bottom regularly. If Scott can have a great week he could come in second again.

It's been five women on the trot it must be time for at least one man to be eliminated

It seems not. If we choose to accept footygirl's information (which I do, and thankyou to her and her source for providing it) then there was certainly a pretty stable top three for a while with the rest interchanging week by week. However what we don't know is how spread out the top three were in terms of number of votes, and also just how clear they were of the remaining contestents. We don't know if those dropping down the leader board are losing votes themselves, or if it just others gaining them.

One possible scenario, out of many, is that Matt is a clear leader, Pamela trailing, and Kara, Gavin and Scott are all pretty close and capable of changing positions quite easily. I would be somewhat surprised if Matt went out this week, but it could be any of the others going.

Mine too. Gavin is a plank, to put it bluntly, and although he's improved a bit, he's the worst one left. I think Pamela's had a bit of a free ride from the judges - she's good, but she ain't 40/40 good, IMO.

Agree, what a great final Scott, kara and Matt would be.

Pamela hasn't done a poor performance yet. Scott has done several. It'll be interesting to see whether the judges can keep Scott in the competition. I think that with the judges' help, plus Eastender fan votes, he'll get to the final. I don't think he should, though.

Gavin & Kara would be my guess.

Scott will get a bounce and has 2 crowd pleasing dances.

Jive anyone?

The Judges have done all they can to keep Pamela in 2 weeks running, although I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt in that it was to force Ann out at the same time.

Topped Leaderboard

Scott 2 plus 2 shared
Pamela 3 (twice in the last 2 weeks) plus 2 shared

Whether the votes come from Eastenders fans or psychology patients, they are still valid votes for who they want to see go through to the Final.
