Questions Concerning iPhone 4 - would this work?
I am looking to buy a 32GB iPhone on Pay as you go for £595.00 with 02.
The deal is... - Up to 300 UK texts (which is fine for me), 500MB UK (see my question below) data and unlimited Wi-Fi when you top-up £10 a month Now I assume "unlimited Wi-Fi" is home use connected to your own hub. and....500MB UK data is when you are out and about using hotspots etc. My question is this. I have BT Total Broadband and according to the http://www.btfon.com/ website as a Total customer I get inclusive access to hotspots/openzone for being a total broadcast customer. Now I could use this BT deal to connect to the internet when I am out and about right? would this eat into my 500mb data? or not. I think as I have inclusive access to the hotspots i should use it. I think for myself this would work out a cheaper option then going on a contract as I do not yap a lot and I am not a heavy txter and 300 is loads for me. I just want clarification that I am looking at this correct and this method would work effectively - as long as I can use the internet on it etc daily I am fine ![]() thanks! |

Yes you should be able to connect to FON spots and login, they list as BT Openzone on an Iphone.
For me this is a pain as i am not a BT/FON customer so if i use a proper public Openzone spot once then it constantly locks onto FON spots which i cannot use. |

your 500Mb is for mobile data usage(3G Edge etc). This is nothing at all to do with Wi-Fi.

also technically if I use my BT Total Broadcast FON/Openzone access which I get as apart of my net package I will not be using 500mb data given a month - right? |

oo err I am not good with all this LOL so what do I have to be careful not to do with my data usage? will it run low quick doing a certain thing...

How long 500Mb will last completely depends on your usage. For reading text based web pages and email it will be fine. If you plan to do a lot of streaming of music/video it will not. |
