And the Winners Are:-
Smartphone of the Year: HTC Desire
Best consumer smartphone: Apple iPhone 4 Best business smartphone: BlackBerry Torch Best value smartphone: Orange San Francisco Best Android smartphone: HTC Desire Innovation of the year: Apple iPhone 4 Best accessory: 3 MiFi Best GPS device: Garmin nuvi 3790T Best GPS software: ALK CoPilot Live Readers’ award – Best smartphone: Samsung Galaxy S Readers’ award – Best network: Vodafone Clove customer award – Best smartphone: HTC Desire http://www.smartphonedaily.co.uk/new...ers-announced/ How on earth do they work out the top 3, how can a phone be considered best of the lot, but not be the top in Consumer and/or Business. And i do believe thats the 3rd or 4th time, i've seen Vodafone awarded best network this year, funny that they get slatted on here though. |

It all depends who votes. There are so many different organisations giving awards its about time there was a Best Award Award for the set of awards which are better than the rest.

Very strange awards in there...
Best Android, but not best Symbian or other OS and was the iPhone 4 ground-breaking enough to win the innovation award? Although I must admit I am struggling to think of anything else. |
