Oh I love musicals. Hate Mamma Mia but love musicals. I've seen Wicked and Phantom of the Opera and I'm going to see Legally Blonde this Summer...you can't beat a good musical

That's another great feel good musical too and it also helps that it has plenty of eye candy Plus if there's a friendly cast on, they're lovely at the end when you can chat to them!

Although I've not seen it in person, I don't think Wicked would come across as well as a film from what people have told me and what I've seen on YT etc as it seems to work as well as it does due to the whole theatre environment and stunts which look much better in person e.g the ending of Defying Gravity.
