I really could do with reading a decent book. The last dozen fiction books I've read have been naff. Including the one I'm reading right now. I keep skipping parts.

Well don't look at me! I'm not good at picking out books. Although I have read one recently with a gay romance sub plot and it was just terrible. Sounded like the author was writing his fantasy. No romance in it at all.
All very disappointing.
