...but explains it does not appear on the clip, but it would only be visible to the judges, as she moves right in front of them. That's what he says.

Shame about that, because he did say he was tempted to give a 10.

I do really wish he could show us the hideous wobble becuase I hat to say this , but I dont believe him .,And why did he not mention it when he said it was FAn tas ma goricle

Perhaps that does explain something; but then it means if a mistake is visible it gets penalised; if it occurs at a place and angle where the judges do not see it, it does not get any penalty. It is just a matter of luck as to where a wobble or stumbles occurs.

I can't wait to see what Karen Hardy has to say tomorrow, hopefully she will mention the stumble by Pamela!

or the fact that Pam's shoulders are round her ears

But she is more likely to toe the bbc party line i hope not

Play back that bit just after she discards the chair and focus to see if that "hideous wobble" is visible from the angle of the camera. If not, it means we are dependent on the integrity of the judges to trust their eyes and words.

I looked for the wobble also and I could not see it. It had to be camera angle if Craig insists he saw it. Too bad because she executed those chair moves beautifully and went right into the dance. People sitting at home see something different from the judges.

Definately. James was positioned between the judges and Pamela when she tottered, so it is possible the couldnt see it.

I am also gutted that Pamela got top marks.................. shame that none of the Judges saw her stumble.
Kara was robbed !!!!!!!!!

I don't think Kara was robbed because she didn't get 40. The dance was beautiful, no doubt about it, but having watched it back a 2nd time some of her footwork was really bad. Len commented on the heel leads that had become far too exaggerated (or whatever word he used), but even worse - for me - was when in promenade position, instead of dragging her left foot towards her right foot, she picked it up and stamped it into position. Maybe she was thinking tango was like paso, where lifting the foot is acceptable, but for a tango it was completely wrong.

I definitely saw a stumble in Pamela's VW.

It's not the Olympics.

It's a light entertainment show and they both entertained me on saturday.

38, 39 or 40 , doesn't really matter to me or 99% of viewers.

I just watched Kara's Tango several times more and replayed the section where she 'wobbled'.

Sorry Craig, but I'm just not buying it... if it's true then I apologize - but I just don't see how you can wobble and yet retain a perfect upper body half.

I went and played again too and cant see it and she stays in shot after the chair bit .I also would very much like to know what bit of FANTASMIGORICAL means " she wobbled ""

As a Kara fan I think this light controversy will help her. She is not perceived as a judges favorite which usually the public can't stand. Pamela is perceived that way (at least in this forum) and I do not think it will help her at the end.

I doubt she was doing anything different from training, which means if Len didn't think that was an appropriate step for a tango, then Artem's at fault, not Kara. I mean, I presume it wasn't her decision to dance it in that manner. Unless I have completely missed your point?

Did Kara say at some point over the weekend that she'd caught her heel in her dress as she tipped off the chair and kicked it away? Did I dream that? Is that not the 'wobble' that Craig was referring to?

Personally, I think this is just the judges' response to the criticism about the disparity in marking between Kara & Pamela. It's been rife on this forum this weekend - and, let's face it, this forum is the one that they'll be looking at for feedback.

I still can't make my mind up whether 'they' are trying to protect Kara from the curse of the favouritism tag - or whether 'they' are really trying to engineer a place in the final for Pamela.

I trust it's the former.

You don't think they are trying to get pam into the final because of Billy Connelly? A lot of people on here have suggested that for some reason they are trying to plz him. But i don't know why on earth they would want to do that!

Most likely he had already used his daily quote of tens. I wonder if we get to hear what was Len's excuse.

Not so much inappropriate, just bad footwork.

Occasionally when a pro is teaching what was basically a very advanced routine, especially in such a short time space, so much concentration goes into making sure the tricks and the difficulties are ok, the fact one of the easier steps is wrong can get overlooked.
