Oh how I miss Karen .... each week I see her on 'It Takes Two' and the energy and enthusiasm and explosive vitality make me ache to see her perform again in Strictly.

I am disappointed to see her web site appears not to have been updated since 2008 (?)

Karen Hardy is forty now and I doubt if she'd be interested in competing again.

I think she also has a young child.

Would be happy to see Karen as a judge, but not as a dancer - too much gurning when performing.

40 is too old ?? no way.

A young baby is an issue but my goodness she is still in great shape and didn't she dance in a recent group dance ? I think she is a firework that explodes from the first bar till the last ..

Karen's fab, but I'd much rather see her as a judge than a competitor.

Being a professional on the show is one of the worst paid jobs on television. The hours, the choreography, the travelling, the patience and the stress is hard work compared with a bit of punditry on ITT - and probably better paid.

Maybe .. but it must be worth it's weight in gold for their careers and outside earnings on tour etc

I'd love to see Karen as a dancer or a judge on the show.

In small dozes, she would make a safer pair of hands than Alesha tho.....

I adored her until she repeatedly said 'central fugle force' on ITT a few weeks back, now I have to hit the mute button every time she comes on

Dont forget - she still judges at the World Championships, has a VERY busy dance school, and a five-year-old to run after. I'm not surprised she restricts herself to Choreography corner.

I must say I'm really loving SCD this year, apart from one thing...the judges...Len is being so incompetent, and Bruno and Alesha are just not being good judges. I would love for Alesha to be replaced by Karen, which I've always said because she's a great judge (ITT). If Len got his act together, and Bruno as well, and Karen joined the panel, then maybe the stupid marks would go away!

I dunno. While I love Karen, and think she'd be a great judge, I much prefer her punditry and wouldn't want to lose that. The week she was off and someone else filled in for her showed how great she is in choreography corner; she makes it easy to understand and she isn't afraid to criticise (although I do think she is a bit too positive, 'very clever choreography', at times she still is willing to criticise it). I want Karen to stay where she is.

I also like Alesha on the panel as, like Claudia on Film 2010, she speaks as a viewer rather than getting into technicalities and terminology that goes completely over my head! To be honest, the only judge I'd dispense with is Bruno - I'd like Alesha and Craig to stay, and unless Len is replaced by someone with a similar background he can stay. Bruno, however, I find to be irritating beyond belief!
