Am thinking of making some chocolate chip cookies for my nephews in advance of Christmas - & I was wondering if I could freeze them?

No-one I've asked wants to hazard a guess.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can. To save me typing it, I'll just give you a link:

I do this all the time! Freeze the dough moulded into individual discs then cook as needed,

Do they turn out better if you freeze the dough rather than after baking?

I think so.
My favourite cookie recipe is made by forming the dough into a sausage shape, freezing it, then cutting it into rounds while it's still solid. It always works.

When ever I have done it I have frozen the dough too. But mainly because I like warm cookies.

I don't think the dough keeps as long as the cooked cookies, but if doing them now for Christmas that isn't an issue.

I too would freeze the dough, rather than the finished article.

I bet frozen cooked cookies would become minging! Deffo freeze the dough and bake them as and when needed.
