I have a Freesat HD Humax box and a Freesat HDR Humax box in different rooms and have worked fine up to day when I got myself a Freeview HDR 1TB box and now I find that I can not have the box in any room with the other two Humax boxes as the Remotes work same as to put them on or off and other items ......

So is there codes or means to have two Humax boxes together in the same room ??

I would have thought that Freesat HD box and Freeview HD box would have different codes ????
As this would be good for Humax and customers too ?

I have no means to verify this but I have seen on this interweb thingy mention that if you press the Enter and 0 buttons together on the Freesat remote you get a secret menu. In there apparently you can change the remote channel.

Enter might be the OK button if the Fresat remote is anything like my Humax 9150 remote. Oh and it doesn't work on my 9150 Freeview box.

You can set the remotes to work independently if you have a multi function remote like for example using a Foxsat-HD and a Foxsat-HDR in the same room.

1. Switch on your TV set and the Humax product that you wish to change the remote code.
2. Make sure that the other Humax product that you do not wish to control is in Standby or powered OFF at the mains.
3. Point the remote control towards the remote control sensor of the target receiver.
4. Press and hold the 0 and OK buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the PVR button on the remote stays red.
5. A message will appear on the TV screen:

"You can change the remote control mode.
Press a Numeric Key (<1> ~ <6>) to select the mode
Current mode: Mode 1."

6. Press a NUMERIC button (from 1 to 6) to select a different mode.
7. A message confirming the change of Mode will appear on screen.

This would save time of there customer phone lines and e-mails from people like my self that have both UK public TV system " Freeview HD & FreeSat HD " to have the full range of free channels.

I know it's a long time adding this but for those interested other Humax boxes also conflict with each other I have an Abu Dhabi Sports box by Humax that also conflicted and had to be changed. I got this information from Humax customer services and asked 3 years ago why this information was not included in the User Handbook and he said he would let the people concerned know about this and like the problems with the poor reaction to this remote nothing has been done about it even today with new purchases people are complaining about it on forums. The thing is my Abu Dhabi box has no remote problems at all so why is it just the RM-F01 that has this problem and why has it not been sorted?
