wow, I had a similar incident. I've been ill for years now. For the first time in 10 years I got on a plane to go to another country, wheelchair and all. I'd just been to the best concert ever, met the twins, they were so lovely. This friend I'd known for twenty years preceded to rant in the comments of this photo with the twins about how I should have taken a shot gun with me, missed doing the world a favour and how they were personally responsible for bringing down the music industry. Like what the hell? I look the happiest I've even been in my life in that photo! after pointing out "how rude" and got more ranting back decided to de-friend also. Twins make me happy he was doing my head in! No contest!

What annoys me the most about the baffled attitude of non fan friends and family is they should have some respect for our opinion, if we see something in them, perhaps they've should consider that they have misjudged the twins and there is more to them than they think. But no Simon Cowells "they can't sing' opinion trumps all. I've sat through more hours of them performing than he has, they sing just fine!

People really don't get that despite the same songs no two shows of theirs are ever the same and they are such fun, and thanks to many of our realife friends not wanting to humour us to see them most of us have made amazing new Jedfriends to go to concerts with.

It is like living in planetjedward bubble. But I like it here!

They just make me smile and laugh and feel happy.
I actually really really love them!

Blimey - that guy sounds like he needs to take a chill pill . I never get that sort of venom for the boys. It says more about the hater than anything else.

I think I’m changing a few of my friends’ perceptions of them … one guy I work with is going to take his little boy to see them in panto in Dublin when he goes back home for Christmas, and my sister in law and one of my nieces say that if they tour England again they’ll go see them with me. And I’ve got a pic of them with flat hair from their Next models portfolio next to my pc at work, and loads of (female) colleagues when they spot it go ‘Is that Jedward??! Wow, they look, um, …. different (for ‘different’ read ‘very cute!’ though they’d never admit it.)

Me too! Like I said to you in Durham, it’s like some bizarre but wonderful cult, lol.

Funny how people's opinion of them can shift with a flat hair picture

Best cult ever, to be honest

I've never de-friended anyone. I did block one of my work friends from seeing the album of pics of me with the twins but the other day she asked me if I would unblock her and she'd stop taking the mickey... and she hasn't so far. Well a tiny bit but only about me seeing them again, nothing mean,

Haha I had to laugh at what my godfather wrote in our family Christmas card. I saw him once in the mayfair as he was having a business meeting thing there and I was there with Gemma and Kerry. Then when I saw him at my uncles 50th he was like 'what were you doing there? I would have bought you a drink!' and so in his card he put 'I was in the mayfair bar again last week but I didn't see Stacey. (Or Jedward!)' My parents found it actually hilarious.

I just want to say - as someone who hated, HATED, Jedward at the auditions stage last year - I fell in love with them in one moment, during the Oops I Did It Again performance. I've loved them ever since. I think they are the nicest, daftest, most adorable boys ever.

I agree!

Unfortunately I didn't watch X-Factor last year, so never saw their 'journey' unfold (only discovered them this year via Big Brother) and I wish I had watched it, I'm curious as to what I would have made of them back then.

I think their Britney number was such a 'WTH'?! moment that people either grew to love them from then, or became more entrenched in their dislike for the boys ... it was hardly a bland, safe song choice for 2 teenage boys, lol.

they've posted a twitvid from SA - so much toliet talk

http://www.twitvid.com/N8K7B

and Edward with just a towel on:

I never actually hated them at the audition stage as it was obvious they were just raw, naive kids who'd never even used a mic before. No stage school training for them and it showed. They still managed to get the audience on their side though, didn't they? I guess we should also thank Brian F for the Britney routine

Re the Toliet(sic) talk - perhaps they do eat too much fruit and drink too much water. :')

too much info

They do seem to spend an awful lot of time in Toliets (sic) () though. Maybe a Toliet manufacturer/retailer should get them on board or toilet duck or someone

Endorse Toliet Duck?
No stranger than shake n vac I guess.

I was kinda hoping for the entire Mr Muscle range endorsement to follow from that. John and Edward cleaning bathrooms, kitchens etc. Actually probably just John doing the actual cleaning while Edward stands about helpfully looking cool.

They're not too bothered what awards they win as long as they do win.

Well I know "we call him Rob" was gonna text them when he found out they'd be in Cape Town cos he tweeted he would. I adore how much he really loves them, who'd have thought it!? I hope it's true, then they can be friends with MC "you can't touch this" Hammer too.

This would be amazing if true. Haha I love Rob, I think he sees himself as a sort of mentor for them giving them the benefit of his advice etc....they could do a lot worse! He's been through the mill and come out the other side. And they've done a lot for his career as well in doing UP.

World Record for 'Pass the Parcel'

random but people on my Twitter tine line kept commenting the Jeds getting named checked at least four times on tonights TV

"Just now on roberts web, twice on live at the apollo and again on have I got news for you"

I wonder if the woolworths pass the parcel thing would have got a mention in a tabloids if the twins hadn't rocked up in Buzz Lightyear outfits at the last minute?

Disappointed if this is true:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...-of-twins.html

I had feeling that ITV2 would not commission a second series. Not sure of the reasoning

However, I think it would be good for them to get a children's show.

ITV2 probably gonna do a show on One Direction now.

Shame if let loose thing is true, but we got 2 more episodes than we were gonna get it was gonna be a one off episode initially. Just wish it hadn't been so staged, much better when they just let them be themselves. But I'd prefer a show where we got more of them and less of Liam etc.

Does it seem likely that TV cameras were following them round Orlando just for a 2 minute thing for the Late Late Toy Show?

Someone tweeted a few weeks ago there were doing the narration for another Jedward TV show, I can't remember who it was.

Twins win "award" for services to twitter: lol @ "bewildering stream of consciousness tweets!!"

http://celebrity.aol.co.uk/2010/12/1...0-the-results/

We don't know, maybe a second series of Let Loose was never intended. But BBC is more mainstream and I know not everyone agrees but personally I'd love them to do a kids show. I don't know what that filming at Orlando was all about. Looks as if SA has been a success, Omid Djalili has tweeted he now likes them - like most people who work with them.

True - people often say how professional they are as well which will encourage more work offers. I just hope they don't get stuck in SA and miss start of panto

The namechecks are good. Everybody knows Jedward, and their image, it doesn't matter what you think of them.
