Most of the HTC handsets have pretty good cameras but are let down by the "camera lens" that covers these.

Its a cheap plastic protector lens that is scuffed by the least interaction with , well the world.

I've experienced this on an HTC Desire and an HTC Wildfire.

You will notice it eventually when any pics you take go from pin sharp great images to crappy blurred.

The protector lens is the cheapest piece of crap they could find.

He're the tip .. Brasso.

A dab of brasso on a soft cloth, wipe the lens for 5 mins or so and you will have a clear pic again.

Alternatively, some people have suggested poking out the protector and placing a little bit of screen protector directly over the lens instead.

Not something I would do since mine is brand new and the photos seem as clear with it as with out it .
