Gone down the big brother route. Total farce that Liz the strongest candidate has gone.

She sold more tickets than Stuart and still went... Why was this just ignored? AND he was the project manager.

Worst decision in Apprentice history. I could see it happening as soon as they lost the task though. Lord Sugar has always hated intelligent, academic businesswomen and loves "diamond in the rough" men.

It was probably all that bull about having a field full of ponies waiting to run to him!!!

Even Dara O'Breen didn't believe Liz had gone!

Definitely. As soon as she said the word academic she was gone. I wasn't even a fan of Liz but Sugar's bias is ridiculous and started all the way back in series one when Paul stayed over Miriam.

Glad Liz went, she just sits back and doesn't do anything

I don't really see what made Liz stand out. She was promising at the start but she's been coasting lately. After Sophocles surviving five thousand times in Series 4, LS giving Stuart a reprieve wasn't really that surprising to me.

Yeah.. I saw it coming as soon as he started with "You're the one with a business degree..."

Personally I think Liz is paying the price for two attractive women who looked hard-working and competent, won and got pregnant within months of taking up post.

(although I also think Liz is overrated)

I don't understand why the hell he kept Stuart and fired Liz. Doesn't make any sense. Reminds me of the X Factor.

Stu probably should have gone but I can't get too worked up about it after the way Liz behaved last week.

Maybe it was Karma

Having said that, Liz has been fading lately. She's not as good as I once thought.

This is more about keeping a "character" in the show for as long as possible to boost ratings than picking a candidate.

I smell the infernal touch of Cowell all over this one.

She probably shouldn't have gone, but she wasn't the best candidate. I sort of knew that she wasn't the type of person that Lord Sugar likes.
Plus her bitchy look last week didn't promote her positive qualities as a person.

Out of the three, I think the right person went to be honest. Especially after Liz's attitude after last week's firing, plus I have a thing for Stubaggs and want him to make the final .

Spot on.

But it is a TV show after all so keeping the character who creates the best television however much of a gormless idiot he is makes sense.

She was a bore , could only sell things , hid away when tasks didn't involve selling.

It's abit disappointing that someone as capable as Liz had to make way for a joker like Stuart. He's only there for good tv. He won't get passed the interviews.

You're right, but I think this year we had some big characters go out early and the show's been quite dull since then. Can you imagine if it was all just sensible minded people; Jamie, Stella, Chris, Liz and even Joanna in her tamed version it would be so boring!

Christ, it's like the bloody X Factor forum!

Right decision. Liz was just boring.

Lets not forget he is only 21 and very trainable. LS has said before he doesnt want the finished article. Remember when the Badger so clearly had the best experience and trainingbut lost to the skinny pretty one! LS is not stupid, i am not sure he would keep Stuart in for ratings

Truth was unfortunately that Liz peaked in the first few weeks hardly losing any tasks and never being in the boardroom. The last few weeks she's started to lose and lose again and been exposed and in the wrong place at the wrong time. I also don't think it was really down to what Stuart said. Lord Sugar just wanted rid of Liz because he didn't think he could employ her.
