I thought we were told some time ago that the prize this year was an investment of £250,000 in a business rather than a job? Did I dream that? The official website still talks about a job and the commentary seems to imply the prize is a job working for LS?

The prize of a £250,000 is in the next series, which was filmed this year.

I guess Sir Alan is running out of £100,000 positions he can afford to fill with under-qualified TV fodder.

This series has been so dire I wasn't going to bother with next year but the change of prize might make it worth it. I think (hope!) the candidates will have more than one brain cell between them, for a start. After all, how much of a 'spark of genius' does it take to sell advertising space on digital signage? Even Michael Sophocles could have managed that.

I think even Sugar was realised £100,000 to work for him isn't nearly enough and that people only go on the show to get TV exposure.

Agreed it was far better than the "senior" apprentice. TV gold in fact. Hint for future applicants, it's important that you actually look younger than you are. Well endowed girls and boys who need to shave at least twice a day need not bother applying.
