If one of the two had to go on Saturday, who would you save - Scott or Gavin?

Are you kidding? Scott, a thousand times Scott. At his best he's the second best dancer we've got this year. Gavin is one of the worst.

Scott for me!

Scott for me.

Scott. It's a pity that most of his Latin has been so bad though. He's definitely been the most overmarked contestant this year.

But did you vote for Scott last Saturday?
007 was nearly out.

Definitely Scott. I think there's a lot more that can come from him.

Gavin. He tries harder. And he's funnier.

The fact is Gavin polled above Scott last Saturday.
There was a suggestion there was instinctive tactical voting to get Ann out, by protecting Gavin from bottom place.

This season's voting prediction is so complicated.

In the Final will the last 3 be whittled down to last 2 by judges marks + phone vote,
then the last 2 to Showdance, with the winner decided entirely by phone voting?

So he did, maybe it was due too to the fact that Gavin got rebound vote, a common occurrence after being in the bottom two, how high it was we can't never know (unfortunately!).

While I think Scott is by far the better dancer, I find somehow Gavin a nice addition to the group. But because its semifinal I think Scott should go through the final with Kara and Matt.

Between Gavin and Scott it's either Gavin or no vote at all.
After Jimi left I became a floating voter, whoever I enjoy watching the most get my vote. However I really do not like Scott (I find him really miserable) and Natalie (to coin Len, she gets on my wick) so if they were the best dancers/entertainers, I don't vote.

Urm Scott for a number of reasons number one being he's the better dancer and watching him is better than watching Gavin even though neither of them are on my favourite list.

I love Katya but I think she's taken Gavin as far as he can go and Scott has more ability.

If I had to save one of them it would be Scott, I loved alot of his earlier dances, but he's fallen by the wayside a bit.

I think we'll lose them both this weekend anyway.

I still think it's way too open to call.

So many factors - Ann's away, the various theories re overmarking/undermarking of each of the 5 depending on who you support, the public voters who only start voting at the semis, whether or not the Judges will finally play fair this weekend and indeed who impresses the most with their routines.

Plus the viewers' perceptions of it all without the aid of the forums.

Gavin danced his best yet last week, but even I could see how rigid his upper body was.
Scott had a couple of bad weeks but out of 10 weeks, that is not a bad record.
Everyone has dipped at some point in the past weeks, but his was the most recent of the Big Four.

Who would I save if it came down to it?

Definitely Scott.

Sadly I think they will both go.

When I think of which routines I'd like to see again in the final, Scott's are right up there with Kara's. Between them, the other three havent managed to produce a wow dance since week one. And really, you can discount the first dance as it has the benefit of far longer training than anything that follows.

I love Gavin, but it has to be a vote for Scott this weekend.

Wouldn't save any of those two as my final three include Kara, Matt & Pam

However I feel Scott will be saved by the public over Gavin, probably at the expense of Pamela. We'll see.

Scott - the better dancer overall, though I'm impressed witht he way gavin has improved, he's nowhere near Scott's dancing ability.

Gavin.
Scott looks frazzled.

Scott does look frazzled. On ITT this week he said he's over the dip and feeling better, but he didn't really look it. Looked like bravado. Will he be able to cope with 3 dances?

Anyway I hope Scott and Pamela go out before him.

Scott has looked frazzled over the last couple of weeks, but I thought last night on ITT he looked good, with the twinkle back in his eye.

No contest - definitely Scott - I know whose jive I'd rather see in the final

Scott & Natalie - 29 waltz, 32 salsa, 34 quickstep, 35 tango, 39 VW, 28 rumba, 39 jive, 32 samba, 31 AS, 35 paso.

Gavin & Katya - 28 waltz, 19 salsa, 22 rumba, 23 tango, 26 paso, 29 cha cha, 33 quickstep, 27 AS, 22 jive, 33 foxtrot.

On marks Scott is a street ahead. Gavin's phone voter appeal (and flesh appeal to the girls? plus the whole of Wales behind him) seems to be underestimated by the forum, remembering that he polled well last Saturday. Even Natalie adopted Gavin's topless idea for Scott last week. Did Scott peak too soon, his energy and enthusiasm now eclipsed by his East Enders heavy filming workload?

A lot will depend on the 3 dances starting tomorrow. Neither Scott and Gavin are likely to win the glitterball, but they can win an additional £30K (??) by getting into the Final? This is their Big Game, their last and only chance to rise to the occasion. Good luck to all supporters for seeing Scott and Gavin at their best when most needed, not forgetting the likeable Natalie and Katya.
