Similarly with X-Factor and the Wagners and The Jedwards, you now know that the future of the show is going to be full of knob-ends in The Baggs mould thinking the have a shout at it.
I did enjoy last years as well but they moved far away from early seasons of the show like the other reality tv rival shows. It is still the best reality show when it is on form though although last nights task seemed a really lazy idea |

One thing I've noticed this series is that Lord Sugar is not half as scary or as serious as he used to be, he's become a big softie.
I still love the show though, but maybe it's becoming a bit tired now. |

It's already happened. Stuart Baggs is more or less 2010's version of last series Ben Clarke. He was 22. Their personalties are almost identical.

This happened as far back as series 1 and 2 when Miriam and Karen both went a head of Paul and Jo Cameron. The show has always been the same. Lord Sugar has his favourites, but outside of that he'll often fire more competent candidates that aren't amongst his favourites for entertainment purposes. The order people get fired in doesn't matter particularly as long as his prefered candidates are in the final.

I think the producers realized that people like Ben Clarke from last series add spice to the show. Clarke had the perfect personality for the show - he was incredibly arrogant and useless most of the time! Baggs is the 2010 version and there may have been pressure put on Sugar to keep him in the show for entertainment's sake. If Baggs goes on to win this series then it shows you I don't know what I'm talking about!

it looked like he'd decided that Liz wasn't in his top 2 so when he fired her didn't matter that much. nobody appears to feel that The Brand TM deserves to be in the top 2, so it must be about 'good TV' i.e. making fun of his self-importance in the interviews.
he is only 21 and the youngest candidate - harness him and his field of ponies... |
