I would save Matt. He's been my favourite from the outset, but I must say I feel disappointed that he hasn't really had a stand-out dance.

I would be sorry to see Gavin go though: I was all set to dislike him, but I'm find him hilarious. And he has got a lot better.

I want Scott and Kara for the dancing, so I would be happy to vote for Gavin over Matt.

As much as my rating of Matt has gone down in recent weeks, I would still save him over Gavin, because he is the better dancer. At this stage of the competition, I would rather see dances done as properly as they can be. Of course people are encouraged to vote for their favourites, and 'favourite' doesn't automatically mean 'best dancer', but it is the deciding factor for me.

I actually thought this was a trick question at first, but I realise it's probably just my prejudices that make me think that

Gavin, much as I like him, was not a better dancer than Jimi, was not a better dancer than Patsy and was only arguably a better dancer than Goldie. Sorry, but we're at the stage where personality and effort alone shouldn't be the deciding factor. Matt is the one who can compete most ably with the others left in, and Matt is the one who should stay, every time.

On merit I should save Matt, because he's the better dancer and much as I like Gavin and Katya I think that he's been lucky (probably because he got her) to get this far.

However if it would help Kara win, I'd be sneaky and save Gavin .

Love them both but obviously Matt. Gavin's my 2nd favourite though.

In Matt versus Gavin, yes I'd say that Matt would probably win. I do think though that Gavin is more popular than he's perceived to be and could even be a surprise finalist, or at least beat one of the 'fab four'. That's only a guess though..

Only a guess but I think your right........in a straight public vote with no judges scores I think he might see off 2 of them.

I would save Matt he already has the judges and Claudia against him. Matt has better hip action and gives 100%. Gavin is in no way humorous.

I prize dancing above all else so of course I would choose Matt. However, if the question was who would you save between Pamela and Matt, it'd be a lot tougher for me. Kara and Scott deserve the final for their talent in my opinion but I am still undecided between Pamela and Matt. One week it's one, next week it switches to the other. I'm glad the rest of the public will decide for me cause I really can't choose.

Matt. God only knows why, because most of the time he's disappointed me but I can't help feeling that one day, God willing (perhaps if Aliona breaks her ankle?) he might get to do a stand out dance.

Up until recently I'd have saved Matt, but I haven't enjoyed the last three performances from Matt (mainly due to Aliona's choreography). For me, Matt's dancing has gone down a few notches, but Gavin has improved tremendously.

I also enjoy the performance of Gavin and Katya as a dance couple, and definitely prefer their choreography. So I'd choose Gavin now over Matt.

In a way, I feel that Gavin embodies what I've always felt Strictly was all about - taking someone with no dance skills whatsover and watching them learn to dance and perform progressively throughout the competition. It's as if the steps, the techniques, the movements and the performance are all now clicking into place for Gavin, which I find (as a dancer) interesting to watch. In contrast, Matt seemed to be almost at the top of his game from the start of this series.

I was secretly hoping Aliona injures herself ()so bad someone like Flavia will take over and dance with Matt in the finals. Then I won't mind if he wins over Kara.

I'd definitely save Matt over Gavin. Matt has never had a really bad dance (and several amazing ones) and Gavin's hardly had one good one!!

Gavin - he is so charming and I really like his partnership with Katya. When Claudia asked him if he was worried about doing three dances and he said no - but Katya had been sick three times already - had me in stitches.

I love them - I am not keen on Aliona and I don't like her choreography, I thought their jive was woeful.

Matt. I hate the watching from behind a cushion dances and not only has Matt not given me any, I know he won't.
