...did not win The Apprentice. (spoiler?)
I just rang up Bluewave Communications where he works on the Isle of Man and asked to speak to a Mr Stuart Baggs. He asked for my name and then said "speaking?" So he can't be working for Lord Sugar then right? I didn't think it would be that easy to find out.

I believe that officially the job with Lord Alan doesn't start until after the final program has been shown, because otherwise it's a bit of a giveaway. So yes he could have won, and have been waiting on the Isle of Mann all this time until he could move to London and start working. Particualrly as the broadcast date was delayed because of the election (as Lord Alan had a government connection) so the winner has had to wait a number of months longer than normal. They could hardly be expected to stop working completely and have no income in the months between winning and starting work. Quote:

Could be a spoiler below. If you don't want to know the score, look away now...
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Well, as of 3/12/2010 he's still blogging as the Managing Director of BlueWave Communications: http://blog.bluewave.im/ |

The official line is that it's because they have to keep themselves available to accept the prize, and that makes it harder for them to find a normal job. Ie knowing they could have to quit in six months. If this is true, then presumably the interim role in Lord Sugar's organisation would be optional, and if Stuart's company is happy to employ him he might prefer to do that. |

There is a spoiler thread on here anyway about who the two finalists are.
Dreadful choice by Lord Sugar if its true - the two worst left in my view! |
