I don't like or dislike it. You can't say they won't last just as you can't say they will - it depends on so much and they both seem level-headed.

You are right, I can't say that. Going by any of the other showmances on strictly, it doesn't seem to last forever (strictly is a very unusual situation, people probably fall in love with the glitter and the more time you spent with someone the more likely you will fall in love - basic psychology). Additionally, for them to last, they would need to get together, which hasn't been proven.

However, I don't care either way, I really don't. Maybe I'm not romantic enough, maybe I'm a bit cynical about all these x-factor, strictly showmances that are only there to lull us into believing that contestants are more interesting than they really are. Kara and Artem don't need this, they are good enough without it. It's meant as a compliment.

I take this as a compliment, I'm not from Yorkshire, but I have strong links to it.

I think it would be nice if they were left alone too , but its human nature to want a fairy tale and I see no harm in having a little chat about it to be honest . Only they can know the real story though and to specualte on how long it would last is ludicrous IMO ,

If you are referring to me Abba, I'm not speculating on anything. I don't care if they are together, and if so how long it will last (mine was a throw away sentence, but I'm now convinced that anything that could be construed as remotely negative about Kara will get me into trouble), and I don't care if people want to speculate on it (I've never said so). I'm just giving my opinion, which isn't even negative about Kara or Artem. I don't need a showmance to find them interesting or to enjoy their dancing.

Actually, I agree with the bit in bold, leave them alone with with, which is consistent with my statement "I don't care".

Oh God no Lach I wasnt referring toyou at all I was referring to the media . I like a chat about them but the media are ruthless and put words in their mouths , leading to Artem having to make a statement on the show .
Sorry if I gave that impression to you .,

I'm sure you didn't. Actually I think I'm a bit slow on the uptake today and I thought people were thinking that I was being negative about Kara and Artem, when in fact I was being positive.

I hate the media manipulation and I hate Tess' quips and stuff, and I wish they would let them do what they want. To be fair, they look very close and seem to get on very well (good chemistry when they are dancing). They look like they are made for each other, but I think they have to deal with this themselves.

This is what I think as well, the lack of chemistry is missing from their dances. The judges have noticed this on more than one occasion too.

[quote][They certainly dance well together.. It's the body language when they are not dancing that makes me doubt a very close, personal bond. /QUOTE]

Thats my thought Stockingfiller - They dance really well and whilst I dont care either way if they are/are not an item I just have wondered if it was genuine and yes I loath when Tess pries in their interviews (like she did with Matt and Flavia)
