Where did Chris learn to speak like that?
He speaks like a minor member of the royal family.
On the show last night his parents and sister spoke with a light london twang, nothing like Chris, so did he get shipped off to public school at a very early age or is he faking the 'posh' accent? |

No, he went a grammer school, and then Nottingham Uni.

No that's definately a fake accent and a boring one. If you are going to do posh, do it properly!

His parents were working class who made themselves money. He was born into money and went to a grammer school.

He sounds a bit rough-edged in his speech, not polished - quite "common" or "lower" to me, in the accent sense - I mean not at all "upper"-sounding. |

He reminds me of a vampire so his accent is probably from a few centuries ago.

I would rather listen to him than the faux street accent that seems to be obligatory to be accepted as 'normal' nowadays.

He sounds like a goon. He would not last 2 minutes round these parts.
