I think it shows confidence and looks unique, what a good a trade mark. I never noticed her trying to cover her mouth up?
Let's not forget some people want gaps put in their teeth. http://www.stylelist.com/2010/01/27/...-in-dentistry/ I have a gap in my front teeth and my dentist did ask me once if I wanted it 'fixing'. I was gutted I love it, that gap is a part of me. = if you put a thicker black line down the middle of this cheesey grin you will have me.

I don't think she uses Hedley and Wyche, the British toothpaste.
Here is the transcript from the advert (SNL- Mike Myers) [ open in British pub ] Spokesman: You like our pubs, and you like our fish and chips. And I'm about to let you in on another secret - Hedley & Wyche. Pub Owner: It's the only toothpaste we ever use! [ smiles, revealing poorly-cared for teeth ] Barmaid: One tube last for years! [ smiles with rotten teeth ] Bobby: Actually, I've used it all my life, and I've never had to go to a dentist. [ smiles with rotten teeth ] Spokesman: Hedley & Wyche, is the toothpaste that makes brushing a pleasure. That's because its mild cleaning agent is enhanced by two teaspoons of pure cane sugar, for a smile that says "Yum, that was good!" Pub Patron: And it tastes great on a cracker! Jingle: "Hedley & Wyche The British toothpaste! It tastes okay And it's got great taste!" Spokesman: Hedley & Wyche. The British toothpaste. You don't have to brush your teeth every week - but you just might want to! Announcer: Hedley & Wyche. For a smile that says, "Yum, that was good!" |

I think veneers on the teeth are a really a veneer to one's self of how lacking one is in depth, security and personality.
It's a shame we can't all be as deep and profound as you are Incidentally, I don't think you would feel the need to attack other people like that if you were very secure in yourself.

Sad little man, Mr Opening Post. The closest you'd ever get to a woman like Liz would be in your wet dreams.
Critiquing her teeth, seeing as your in most probability clinically obese you should really just keep your superficial criticism to yourself. Okay. I'll admit it. I'm not fond of her hair either. But she's got a hell of a body under those business suits. Getting back to the teeth... come on. Its not like she doesn't live in a nation of bad dental care. Comparatively, her choppers aren't that bad. |

Anyway, I think Liz's teeth are fine. She does seem to have whitened them, but they don't look silly.
That's different from veneers. Which is putting hardware into your mouth, and a bit ridiculous. But using some peroxide? Come on. Its nothing. |

I can't believe how white they are and because they're not meticulously even, are obviously completely natural. Lucky woman.

Sorry, but I agree with the OP. I was embarrased for her as she did seem to be trying to hide them, and I kept thinking that she could sort them out quite easily, to the dentist who hates veneers, OK, but what about invisiline braces? She wears expensive clothes, why not spend a little on her crooked teeth?
PS I'm a woman, and I've got 8 porcelain veneers, and I love how they look, can't comment on KT Price as I've never noticed her teeth, but Jodie Marsh looks so bad because hers are way too white, they're so white they're blue, and you do have a color choice when having them made, and she chose wrong. ... I dont like her much and I didnt rate her as a candidate but she is a very attractive woman and it seemed to me that she was completely confident about her looks..... as she has every right to be

I see veneers are going out of favour, and slightly wonky or happy teeth are in fashion .. Whiteness remains popular though.
I nearly went to Hungary for a cheap dental makeover; so glad I was talked out of it. In Liz's case, I think they stop her looking too false. |

I have veneers on my front top teeth because they had been damaged after years of me grinding my teeth in my sleep. Without having something done to cover them, I would have probably lost at least one of them before i was 50 and the enamel was becoming too thin. Maybe not wanting to become a toothless old crone might show lack of depth in your extremely deep world but, in mine, it's the best case senario. |

Her teeth all look healthy, her incisors do look quite short and rotated which does sometimes make it look like shes missing a tooth or that its been chipped but then the one on the other side looks much the same.

She's obviously very self conscious of the fact that she has gaps in her teeth, as she was trying to hide them on YBF, and I believe it affects her speech a bit as well.
She can probably afford to get them done so maybe she hates going to the dentists. |

I mean, seriously.
As someone mentioned (when she was on YBF), she kept tried to somehow 'hide' her massive gaping holes in the side of her teeth. You would have though after a year since filming stopped, she would have done something about gnashers ![]() whats YBF? |

![]() Criticise her for being bad at the tasks or in the boardroom or whatever, but picking on someone's physical attributes (when it's likely something they can't change, or else are reconciled to) is out of order. Yes, they put themselves up to be on TV, but picking on someone for a gap in their teeth? really? Sorry, but I don't think that's fair. Let's stick to dissecting how they behave on tasks, eh? |

People go on and on about whitening like its a big deal. Its not. Those who whine about it are the ones with the problem, I think. I mean are they really trying to persuade us that Brown teeth are attractive OR natural?
The reason I tell you this? Because there are lots of reasons teeth are yellow, and although they look ok it can be non trivial to get teeth to a state where they can be whitened. And then, there are limits to which they can be whitened. If you're on TV every day as a presenter maybe you will go to these limits to sort your teeth out. If you're just a normal person who happens to be filmed for one summer of their life, maybe you won't... I remember when I was on Deal or No Deal and people on the DS forums criticised me for having yellow teeth - I mean, WTF? Surely they should criticise me for dealing too early, or whatever, but as a member of the public who is on TV for a few moments, they expect me to spend hundreds getting my teeth sorted? Really, go and pick on Liz for a decision she made in the tasks, but not her teeth! |
