Neighbours badly needs some strong female characters, like it used to have back in the day. Jade and Sonya go some way to meet that criteria.

unfortunately while i think the character of Sonya is great - if a little inconsistently written - the producers and writers know that we like her. and so they've already begun to make her a pivotal role in their latest hair-brained storyline. character destruction here we come

I'm really enjoying the storyline of Sonya being Callum's mum. I just can't wait to see how it all comes out, does anyone know how/when it does? I'm also liking Jade a lot lately too and I didn't like her at first.

The preview for next week (Oz) looks amazing. Can't wait for the episodes.

I liked Sonya when she came in. She was a good match for Toadie. But this storyline of her being Callum's mum is such a blatant example of retroactive continuity that it is insulting to the intelligence of the audience. The other mystery about Sonya is how she managed to wind up with a sister of seemingly Asian descent.

She is any with Toadie because of Callum..I mean how of an incident she was walking dogs or training them and bingo, she mets Toadie and Callum that way..She doesnt seem to train dogs now

Its about another couple of months away at UK Pace. This is how Ian Smith is being written back in and we don't see him on our screens until June. Also Dieter Brummer will be appearing on the show around the same time.

This is one of those stories that needs time for it to build. It will be great viewing when its revealed.

The reveal is May 2nd in the UK I think, or that week anyway. I thought it was a good reveal and I'm totally on Sonya's side.

OMG what was Sonya doing in that skirt in tonight's ep? It made her look about 40 at least! Having said she is quite attractive so it brought the feminine side in her a bit more!
