She's hardly Miss Perfect, and yes, her foot was off the floor - but considering the amount she's been marked down by across this series then her score was well deserved!

yes it was - still the best by a considerably long chalk though

She's still in a league of her own.

She was still sublime and in a league of her own , foot or no foot off the floor .

Yes, her foot was off the floor twice. But it was still in a different league to the rest of the dances tonight.

As soon as I saw that Kara finally got a great score (although she was still undermarked) I knew there would be threads having a go at her by fans of other couples. It's annoying but fully expected.

Yes, it wasn't perfect because of that error. Still bloody good, mind.

They didn't get a perfect score.

Yes it was and she admitted it herself. She was marked down because of it. If Pamela can get 40 with a small stumble, then Kara can get 39 with her foot slightly off the floor.

Yes Alesha thank god for Sky+ so we could check if her foot was off the floor ;D
I love Kara though bless her.

Yeah I noticed her foot was off the floor, but I think it may have been a bit harsh if she lost 4 points because of it. 39 was a well deserved and justified score I thought.

To me Kara's dance was beautiful. IF her foot came off the floor it was a mistake which is very different from a deliberate lift being put in.
I've never seen her punted as Perfect by anyone btw OP

Best dance of the night by far- miles ahead of the others.

Artem did admit it in the chat in the Tesspit, too. What's the issue here?

Even if she had lost 4 points, she would STILL have been top of the leaderboard. I don't get why bitter fans have to slate those who dance well.

Yes it was. And what of it? Annoyed your fave didn't beat her?

She should be, she won the Sport Relief version of Strictly Come Dancing in March 2008, with Mark Ramprakash. She knows what the judges are looking for and has studied dance herself.

The biggest plus is she's got a partner who was a finalist of ''So You Think You Can Dance'' in the US. He's also worked as a choreographer, performed on Broadway and danced on the West End stage.

She is sublime. Their Viennese Waltz was incredibly beautiful and lyrical.

And her foot was off the floor?

Her foot was off the floor.

Deal.

A very moving dance making many people happy.
Craig the bookkeeper missed the spirit of dance.

Oh dear me. Your favourite not had previous training from a cricketer and partnered by a so-called professional who has never danced before? How unfair.

She got docked training time because she danced on Sport Relief. And she's not the first one on Strictly who went to stage school.

Uncalled for, really.

If I had a little less class, then I could start spiraling off about other contestants previous experience - but as it is, it's not worth it.

Yes, her foot was off the floor twice. It was still the best dance of the night, and the best viennese walz of the series.

Actually, the foot off the floor was not actually Kara's fault, but Artem's. Artem lifted her just a fraction further up than he should, so her foot bounced off the floor. It is an easy mistake to make, even for a proffessional. This is a very difficult move, that requires a hell of a lot of precision, so credit to them for risking it.

So, OP, before you name tag someone, do us a favour and do your homework first.

The bile being spouted out towards Kara on here tonight just smacks of annoyance and desperation because she clearly outdanced them all (even my other fave Scott). Pathetic really that people have to stoop to this behaviour.

Kara was perfect IMO foot off or on the floor
