The voice of reason. Do not posters realise that what Tess says to the couples is most probably scriped to a degree. If people do not credit her with any sence I am surprised they think she just says whatever she thinks without any guidance from the BBC who would of course promote a romance they always have done it appeals to the viewers.

For a lighthearted show like SCD she is fine.

Not a Tess fan, but she is a professional - does what's required of her, smiles at everything, laughs at Brucie's jokes and mugs gamely for the cameras. I mean, they all smile for the cameras just before they dance. You can almost hear the grinding of teeth through their smiles.

to be fair she does have an earpiece, so she does what her bosses tell her to do.
