I don't think Michelle likes proper conversations at all. When she talks it's usually a sort of challenge - like to get them to react or cause some sort of response - not an exchange of information.

stu seems quite different when he's talking with shell, brighter and more interesting

It's not as if she wouldn't have liked the subject..they were talking about music, musical instruments and how good there family members are at playing them

I agree that resentment is the underlying cause of what is making her undermine him. Unfortunately for Michelle, she just looks spiteful and disrespectful. She wears her heart on her sleeve, but I still think there is a lot she is harbouring inside.

I knew she'd turn on him sooner or later..

Remember when she was in the bedsit and she got angry because the housemates started to call Shell 'Michelle', and it was her idea that they all call her 'Princess' which IMO stems from her time in the BS and so ther is no confusion as to who Michelle is......hope that makes sense.

Stuart needs proper voice training if he's going to sing. He can't control his breath or vocal cords properly, the notes keep breaking up.

From what I have seen of them, all of her focus on him is to get him to react to her and her alone by admiring her in some way, and prompting him if this is not forthcoming. When his attention is not on her and her alone she will impose herself on the situation and haul him out of it one way or the other. She seems to be exceptionally unskilled in social situations and cannot handle what I believe psychologists call a three person situation. (Tongue in cheek) Must check with mrfreeze that I've got that right.
