Swingathon was just an excuse for the judges to show off who their favourite couple was, and of course they were going to give it to Kara and Artem. Don't get me wrong, she's a good dancer, it's just her fake 'oh I didn't know I was that good' attitude that annoys me. SCD is becoming just as bad as X Factor.

Hardly saw anything of Scott or Matt!

I like the dance in principle but this was so under-rehearsed and everybody was so tired by then it was a bit pointless.

I loved the dresses though.

Pamela's shoes!

The Swingathonlooked like an excuse for the judges to skew results. I wondered if they'd decided beforehand. Complete waste of time. It's rather annoying that they assume that every viewer is possesed of one brain cell and can't see what they're up to.

It was a mess to look at and difficult for the home viewers to really see what was going on but above all what was the point of it? The marks were so inconsequential there was nothing at stake. Even if Matt, for example, had won there was no possibility of him overtaking Scott on the leaderboard.

To be fair, if Pamela had scored higher than me twice, I'd think surely there must be something I'm doing wrong.

That's the point - if it can't be captured satisfactorily on camera for the TV viewers, why bother doing it?
Couldn't tell who was who or how good anyone was. Maybe one static high camera would have helped, but it was always doomed to failure.

I kind of liked it, but all I could ever see was Pamela thanks to the camera work and those bizarre, distracting shoes! If she wanted to wear flats couldn't they have been elegant pumps or jazz shoes?

The hustle format they did one year on DWTS was better imo - some group stuff and some solo sections so you got a chance to see everyone's set pieces in isolation.
