That was just stunning. In a different league to any other VW ever on the show. Alesha's came close too. I find it hard to believe Ali got a perfect score when hers wasn't even close to the magic of Kara's (and Alesha's).

I think it was gorgeous and was disappointed it didn't get 40. Better than Alesha's, I thought.

Seems like a shame that a dance of that standard loses out on something like that.

I was enchanted , stunningly beautifull .

It frustrates me this year because they let lifts go early on...some dances had so many and it has kind of spoilt the use of them in a way.

It was beautiful, absolutely stunning! I loved that Len said the only two outstanding VWs were Alesha's and Kara's because that is right on the money in my view. I'm not too bothered about the score. That goes next to her American Smooth on my favourite dance ever shelf.

It will always look better and elicit a stronger feeling in me than any other Viennese Waltz I've seen.

Whether it gets a 10 or not due to a supposed illegal move is neither here nor there in my eyes. 10's have become meaningless anyway.

It's the lasting impression the dance will leave that is of significance..

I thought it was the best dance of the evening and she was top of the leaderboard so for me that's more important than whether it was a 39 or 40. I think 10s are bandied about too readily, it leaves the judges little room for movement.

I was so entranced by Kara and Artem's Viennese Waltz that I have watched it back four times already.
So she did lift her foot a tiny bit, but that was really Artem's fault as he lifted her a bit too high!

It knocked spots off Pamela ansd James VW last week that got 40 - stupid Craig!

Give Craig his due, he was right she had a foot off the floor and when I saw it I thought he'd give her a nine.

I my opinion, whatever the result, Kara won this weeks ago.

Much much better than Pamela's but I guess they had no room to manoeuver after giving Pamela the maximum.

Craig must watch Kara like a hawk to find the smallest of small mistakes.
Very pedantic, considering the way scores have went with the judges over this season.
She deserved the max.

It was breathtakingly beautiful and her armography (get me!) was stunning. It just flowed so beautifully.

Sid you are so right! Her VW made me cry and her tango made me shake. They have been the only 2 dances of the series to make me feel so strongly although I did think Scott's VW was good.

It was a beautiful dance only slightly marred by the fact her foot left the ground and as such the 39 was fair although I believe the judges are setting her a higher standard than Pamela but am sure this will only help Kara strive for improvement.

...And yet according to his marks Ali's was as good as was Pamela's. (And undoubtedly more, I just don't remember which!) Ali's was good, but Pamela's... I didn't like it at all.

I think it was truly captivating. I've always appreciated the slower ballroom dances like the waltzes, foxtrot etc, but over the different series I have never been drawn quite into them as I have been with some of the latin dances and the dances that are usually considered more entertaining. However, Kara's viennese waltz changed that and had me completely transfixed, I thought it was absolutely stunning

I simply cant wait to see Karas rhumba, she is sensational .Her VW tonight was simply divine ,

I've watched couple more times now and it just gets better and better. They are such a class act - utter perfection.

I must admit I found Rachel and Vincent's rumba a bit too 'much' and I worry a little that Kara and Artem's will be the same... I really hope not though
