Anyone know how the scoring is going to work this weekend?

They scored Friday's dance from 1- 5 points
Frday's swingathon from 1-5
Saturday's dance 1- 5
which is a total of 15 points

But what do the public votes count for

I wonder is it 1 - 5 again, making the public vote only 25%
or it is up to 15 to allow a public vote of 50%

Anyone know?

Did they not add together the dance and swing scores tonight making scores like 44 etc am assuming they will add the judges scores from sat on to that then rank one to five and then do public as normal so the three sets of scores from judges wl make up 50% and then the public votes 50%

I don't know but I guess it'll be like when there were 2 dances, that they will give positional numbers 1-5 at the end so that the public still gets 50%.

I think if the public got less than 50% there would be complaints.

Edit: Sorry to repeat what you said Georgi, I guess you're faster at typing.

That's how I assumed it would be.

It's interesting that they didn't give them scores out of five for position after the first dances. If they had then Scott and Matt's position at the end would have been reversed ie Matt third and Scott fourth.

Blimey, the Swingathon was bad enough without treating it as if were in the same class as a complete and seperate routine. My biggest fear was that it would tie the leaderboard or reverse places unfairly. Thankfully this didnt happen and the placings remained unchanged after the 5 points were awarded.
