I know it is hard to narrow it down to just one, but what has been your favourite Waissel performance thus far?

That is a great track, but as it was on her Lola Fontaine album and not actually performed as a show, I'm not quite sure it can count.

Well I did briefly stand up for Katie before the live shows started.

But I am afraid I never forgave her after she gave the world's worst ever rendition of I Would Rather Go Blind. I love Etta James and she didnt deserve that.

OBVIOUSLY it was 'sod it'. It really showed her full emotional range. Desperation, petulance, QUIRKINESS.

Where's the quirk now?

Has Matt ever sat on a stage? Has Rebecca ever gone all Britney Spears on her hair? Did Harry Styles ever shag anyone from the Apprentice. NO. Not an ounce of individuality in any of them.

My favourite performance of hers was actually in Boot Camp - Make you feel my love. Of the above though, I did like I wanna be like you.

I liked a lot of Katie's performances because I liked the tone of her voice and her clear diction.
She will do well to look towards a musical theatre career.
I actually think that Cheryl Cole chose quite well for a lot of Katie's song choices.

Katie is a good singer and pretty versatile (compared to Matt or Rebecca).
But I think Cheryl do poorly.
"We Are The Champions", "Bewitched", "Saturday's Alright for Fighting" and "Everybody Hurts" (see Simon comment) are bad choices AND are Cheryl's choice.

Many of Katie's choices are good. Sing-off, "I'd Rather Go Blind", "I Wanna Be Like You" and "Help" (other songs ?).

Katie has hinted that she was not happy with the song choices in an Xtra (4th show, "Bewitched").

Katie was often too stressed to give her best after the 4th show. She thought too much about what she was doing. For me she has enough qualities and talent to have a recording contract in the medium-term.

I liked the one she did at her audition from Oliver but it's not on your poll.

"Please Sir, can I have some more?"

The Jungle book song. That was awesome. The one and only week I hoped that Katie would stay in rather than go home because I thought perhaps she had found her niche.

Unfortunately she hadnt - so after that I was praying for her to go home again

Katie has had a nasty time of it on this forum and in the press, but she's not that bad. I'm sure we will see her again

You speak sense a great deal of the time and are very balanced. However, I sincerely hope you are wrong about this ^. You can go off people you know.
