The way the judges have been tonight has indicated to me that they are insecure bar Craig about their jobs and the way particularly they have been towards Matt tonight. Anyone with me on this?

Wouldn't have occurred to me for a minute. They responded honestly to a dance of Matt's that simply wasn't all that good and have probably ensured that many of those who wavered about him will pick up their phones and vote: out of sympathy if nothing else. I can't see any evidence of "insecurities" myself.

Do you know that scene in the Austin Powers film where they'e sitting at a table and one by one, Dr Evil bumps them off by making them disappear through a trapdoor into god knows what ? Well I think that's what's motivating the judges to act strangely. Below, lies oblivion.

I would say that is a very accurate description indeed.
