Is Pam a ham ?

I like Pam. She is a great dancer, and unbelievably good for someone of 61. But I think she is a bit of a ham. Indeed, sometimes she seems to have more ham than a butcher's shop. She is sometimes as hammy as Hammer Hamster.

I agree. She is pretty good, but she doesn't half milk it and all that fawning over James is vomit inducing....Still I hope she does better than Gavin or Scott!

She's an outrageous ham but it works in the context of her dances.

I can't stand her VTs and wouldn't talk to her at a party but she's entertaining when she dances.

Pam is a ham, but I think it works for her. Her Paso was well acted, and not overacted like so many are. She sells every dance she does, which is sort of the point of Strictly - for the celebs to entertain us.

Some of the celebs are a bit robotic when they dance, which is just boring to watch IMO.

Ham she may be but she always looks like she's enjoying herself and having fun which is why I like her although I would like Kara to win as she dances so beautifully.

I agree. I really didn't like her Viennese Waltz because it was so sickly. Preferred last night's paso where she wasn't simpering.

She's very good at doing the doe eyed look. I admit I did snigger at her thesping in the Viennese Waltz. And every dance always affects her - I almost blushed at her breathy comments after the Rhumba. But hey, she's having great fun and throwing herself into it 100%, regardless of how she may look.

I find her excesses very entertaining! And I love the mix of personalities this year

Kara is our favourite gifted little sister.
Matt is that cleancut gentleman mum raves about.
Scott is the dark stranger, in and out, never quite sure what to make of him.
Gavin is the wayward little brother with charm and nine lives.

Dr Pamela I really cannot place, she is a one-off, or she has multiple split personalities.

pammie is the drunken auntie that ends up stood on a chair singing karaoke but gets invited back because she's 'such a character'

Ha ha ha - that's about right.

Have to say I find her showmance/flirtation with James a bit embarrassing, the fact they are always dragging Billy Connolly in to reassure us there is nothing in it just makes it look worse.

However it is an entertainment show and I can't deny that Pam is working very hard to entertain us.

In fact all the couples left, including Gavin and Katya, are working hard. Unlike Widdy - which is why I am so glad she went out!
