He'll be doing Strictly next year if she reaches the final - simple as, overmarking mystery solved. Shrugs.

He may say that now but I think it highly unlikely. He actually has a reasonably successful film career with projects in the pipeline.

And her paso. And tango. She even has one of the all-time great trainwreck dances by a contender in her jive. Much more fun watching Scott get dragged round by the neck or Matt's salsamba. Even when she was awful she was better at it than most other dancers.

Doesn't matter as long as the promise conspires to get Pammie into the final - does it?
My theory for all the Snowden worship was that she hinted she could get Clooney to visit. |

When I saw Craig give a 10 to Lisa for her Cha Cha, I thought I was going to collapse and die.
But that Quickstep tonight was worth 8's at best! Awful! Kara and Matt were head and shoulders above. I really liked Pamela, then I was indifferent, now I want anybody except Pamela to win! |

I suspect Craig was rewarding Pamela for the richness and variety of James' choreography just as judges punished Matt for Aliona's. But what about Kara's Argie tango moves? Also awarded extra because of Pamela's miracle in overcoming the age handicap of 61.
Brava to Pamela, but if I were paying to watch one of two shows, I would go to Kara and Artem. It surprises me that Craig would collude in that sort of thing.
I thought he had a lot more integrity. ![]() He was so obviously a big player in the AW thing and now this with Pamela. Sad to say, I think he goes with the money and to hell with integrity. |

What infuriated me most was Len actually having the gall to say he loved the tapping! Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't tapping as out of place in a proper ballroom quickstep as lifts?

I do try not to be negative about the dancers (and, yes, I know I fail), but I was as shocked as a very shocked thing when the judges started over-praising a very poor quickstep. Not only was it clunky and clumpy in places, but the hunched shoulders were back in evidence and there was gapping you could drive a truck through. So my jaw dropped lower and lower as each judge enthused, and I just KNEW it would be a 40.
![]() That is, without doubt, the most undeserved 40 in Strictly history, because I liked Lisa's dance and Matt di Angelo's waltz was okay by comparison. ![]() Incidentally, I thought the choreography was good but was sure Len would have a go about the prolonged faffing about with canes at the start - he would have done so for any other couple. ![]() As you might have guessed, I am a bit peeved... ![]() ![]() ![]() As for Craig and his stupidity about the 'lift's' next week take the stairs to the cellar and bloody stay there. Unbelievable marking tonight

Yup. And it's especially hypocritical seeing as he slated Gavin and Katya for putting some quickstep in their foxtrot last week

I'm sure Pamela went out of time with James during the pendulum. So dissapointed with tonight, you could just see how it was going...total fix.

Pam's was the most one-sided VT as well.
The judges had nothing negative to say about her whatsoever and claimed she's as good at Latin as she is Ballroom?! Quote:
You could drive a truck through those gaps, James dragged her through the pivot section, she was clumpy, totally not light on her feet, it was just terrible! I don't even know how to articulate how bad that was!

You heard it from Alesha tonight - Pamela is there to be an inspiration to all women,
cant stand how she behaves simpering away and lusting after James. Also showing those legs, more importantly thinking she deserves those 10's when others dont get them!

Irritating but not as bad as Snowdon as there aren't the dance offs to go with it.

I don't think it would be an injustice if Pamela gets to the final.
She's not the best dancer in the show, but I think she is one of the best 3. Her very emotional response to everything is a bit wearing admittedly. However, if Pamela is overstated at times, then she should be in tune with many digitalspy posters who can also be extremely emotional. In fact I would say that they are soultmates, although they might not care to think of themselves that way! |
