Why was Pamela's dance worth 40 but not Matt's?
I have no intention of starting a fan war - just want someone to point out the technicalities.

Many thanks for your advice and guidance

Pam did a beautiful job.

However, all I read last night was Kara and Artem were out of hold too long and that is why thier dance was not a proper VW. If those same fans defend Pam and James' choreo my head will explode.

I hated it.

However Erin thought Pam was fab, and thought there was not enough Tango content in Matt's. She didn't seem troubled by the scores, and she mentioned the mental 9 for Gavin's VW.

I love Erin but she's going native if she supports that scoring.

doesn't just stop there. There have been massive discrepancies in the voting over the weeks. Bunch of bleeding loonies the judges!

At the end of the day Erin is also an employee of the show so is her view truly independent?

Just like the judges i get the impression they all have an agenda to stick to when marking / commenting.

She is vocal about some of the scoring though- she has criticised Len's score for Gavin tonight, as well as scoring of Scott in previous weeks.

So if she supports your favourite, she is right, but if she supports someone else she is a BBC employee?

Erin doesn't strike me as somenone who minces her words. Karen (who I love is much more likely to do this).

Did Len not say if Pam makes the final then Billy will do next year's SCD?

If this is true then next year's viewing figures will rocket.

Good move by the producers if this is the case.

Blimey, is this a Croydon thread now? I live in South Croydon.

I do hope that the OP gets an answer from the dance experts on this forum. I'm not one - I only know what I've picked up watching this show and ITT - so I'd like to know, too!

I'm not a Matt fan and actually prefer Pamela to Matt, but I didn't see any errors in his tango and did see errors in Pamela's QS.

I saw definite gapping at times in that Quickstep and was surprised that Craig didn't pick up on it. Oh well.

I hoped that this was a joke.

If Billy wants to do SCD next year that's fine but there should be no holding the public or the Beeb to ransom over it.
