Couldn't agree more. She is sensational and while it annoys me she was again pipped to the post by a lesser dance, I am glad that at least everyone but Craig is appreciating just how close to professional standard she is. I adore her. Easily the best dance of the night. If she doesn't make that final, there is no justice in the world.

The rhumba makes me cringe, but that was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Artem's choreography was simply amazing, it was all about showcasing Kara and her beauty. They just leave me speechless at the drama and emotion of it all. I cried after watching it.

That was the best Rhumba I've ever seen on Strictly - beautiful and they make a lovely couple.

I hate the Rumba but Kara was fantastic.
She was so controlled & elegant. Artem has done a brilliant job.

I loved the choice of music and that's half the battle won as far as I'm concerned.

What was it by the way and by which artist? Anyone know?

Artem's choreography matched the music perfectly. He really is a rare talent. Whoever gets partnered with him next year will be very lucky indeed! I think it's a shame Strictly kept Anton and Brendan and hired Jared because they are no match for the new Russian recruit. Matt and Ian are a huge loss.

Kara is so wonderful, I'd take her with any amount of wobbles and mistakes over a technically perfect dance from someone else - she's soooo good!

If you think so then pleeeeease pick up the phone - the tie between Scott and Matt really diminishes the advantage of topping the leaderboard and with the double eviction... well I'm worried a lot of people will think she's safe.

I loved it. Don't get me wrong I love the singers but having an instrumental track rather than lyrics really had an effect, it was almost as if there were no distractions and all my attention was on Kara and Artem.

Ah, I can tell you're a young 'un. For us oldies, Samba Pa Ti was THE dance to smooch to in the 70s, preferably in a horizontal position. Carlos Santana is the guitarist in the group called Santana (distinct lack of imagination there).

I normally hate the rumba (rhumba is a perfectly acceptable alternative spelling, by the way, according to Chambers) because it can be horribly tacky. But this was simply sublime and brought tears to my eyes, sentimental old fool that I am. Absolutely lovely.

If I have a criticism, it is that the nightie style of rumba dress doesn't help viewers appreciate the fabulous body lines Kara was achieving, and her hair kept getting in her face. Sorry for the quibbling. It should, of course, have got a perfect score and I have bruised my finger on the redial button voting for Kara this evening.

It would be a travesty if she doesn't get into the final.

True, true - but I liked the hairography, and the nightie kind of went with the 70s music ..
