The two dances (three I suppose but I'm discounting the swingathon as I saw about 10 seconds in total of Kartem 
) that this girl - this couple - have produced this weekend were nothing short of phenomenal. Bruno was spot on - she was dancing professional routines and she did it with class, control and beauty. She is the winner this year for me, by a mile, whether she lifts that trophy or not. I am spellbound by her dancing and their partnership on the dance floor. What a couple.

Thats how I feel too , She is a winner in my eyes for her sheer beauty of movement ., Last nights Rumba made me cry and I felt I had watched poetry in motion . Not even a pro Rumba has ever moved me before .I think it was their connection , the long hair , the pink nightie and the sublime moves all combined

I didn't cry Abba, but I was transported and so moved. They are the best in every way. Artem makes Kara look like a goddess and she dances like a dream.

I seem to be agreeing with you a lot lately, but I'm in exactly the same position. I don't often have absolute favourites but Kara became mine a few weeks ago, just as Alesha did in her series.
I couldn't vote last night because I was out but I'm so glad that people on here seem to be supporting her- it makes me hope that she might make it to next week despite the other three good dancers having better "stories" than her. If she's through to the final I will be voting next week, for the first time since the series 5 final. Having watched last night's episode this morning, I have to say her rumba was spell-binding. The choreography, the music, her lines and quality of movement... for once the rumba felt like the dance of true love and not just the dance of lust, which it so often is on Strictly. I understand why Craig felt he had to penalise the accidental lift (
) but for me that was undoubtedly the dance of the night.

I normally hate the rumba (rhumba is a perfectly acceptable alternative spelling, by the way, according to Chambers) because it can be horribly tacky. But this was simply sublime and brought tears to my eyes, sentimental old fool that I am. Absolutely lovely.
If I have a criticism, it is that the nightie style of rumba dress doesn't help viewers appreciate the fabulous body lines Kara was achieving, and her hair kept getting in her face. Sorry for the quibbling. It should, of course, have got a perfect score and I have bruised my finger on the redial button voting for Kara this evening.

Completely agree with the entire post, I loved the music and teamed together with Artem's choreography was magical and he made Kara look goddess like, never been moved by a rumba at all until now
