I don't think we have watched the same series - if anything the judges have over-praised feeble dances and ignored blatant departures from the rules.

However I would agree that the default setting for three judges is talking about their own feelings / perceptions rather than actually giving technical feedback on the dance. It really annoys me when CRH is booed - he seems to be the only judge with a framework to his judgements.
