Cher didn't deserve to finish bottom tonight, she performed better than 1D and Rebecca. Such a shame really.

Thank god she's out of this hideous programme.

She'll be attracting more interest from producers than any of the others. Clearly the contestant with the most raw talent; one of the best and most unique XF has ever seen.

Just FYI, I was never a Cher fan, but I'm objective enough to realise when someone did well.

Cher did the best tonight. But I'm happy knowing Cher will end up doing better than at least 2/3 of the top 3 in her career.

I'm no Cher fan at all but she did give the most accomplished performances this evening.

I thought she was great tonight - just goes to show its not the performance on the night that makes people vote. Not that it matters she is gonna be huge

I'm no Cher fan but I'm bright enough to realise that potentially she has the best recording career ahead of her than any of the other finalists.

1 Direction will come and go.... like most boy bands

Matt will have a little success, look at Shayne Ward as an example

Rebecca will appeal to the older generations, but not the ipod kids of today.

He tweeted

iamwill I'm happy for cher...now its time to go to work...
iamwill If cher doesn't win shell win with me and my team

She will dominate charts soon! No doubt!
But in all honesty I'm happy she is out because now the bullying can stop. She ended with a high and awesome performances. So I'm happy
